I thought that allways happened?
It certainly does in my version of both civ classic and MGE (though I use a mac so some stuff might differ), that message is in the game.txt.
Maybe the message has been there all along but allways failed to trigger in your (older?) versions of civ?

Here is the location of the Ransomcity event in game.txt between Continuehawks and Noairport. You are right Yaros, there is no events.txt in the main folder, sorry .

But look for it, use the "Search" tool in "Word" with the first sentence, and tell us if you missed it.

I have it, both on the Spanish and English 'game.txt' I also try loading test.sav with the english one, but doesn't work...
