Este "Wiglaf" es increible. Es un pobre tipo que se cree que su cultura es la unica en el mundo; pero como no va a pensar de otra manera si es yankee?
Encima defendiendo al idioma Ingles, que al fin de cuentas no es suyo, no? Si mal no recuerdo, el ingles es originario de una isla europea que se llama Inglaterra. No se acuerda que su pais no tiene cultura propia?? AH! pero como va a saber eso si mataron a todos los indios, y exterminaron todo rastro de las culturas precolombinas!!!!
Cuantos años de vida tiene su pais? No llega a 250; España me parece que tiene un poquito mas, no? Encima, despues alaba a los idiomas griego y latin; y de donde carajo piensa que deriva el español?
Pero es muy obvio lo que le pasa a este pobre tipo; resulta que se creia que su cultura era la unica y (obviamente la mejor del mundo) pero ahora se siente "atacado" por la "inferioridad" de la cultura hispana que se esta metiendo en su pais.
Lamentablemente siempre va a haber tipos que piensen asi; lo unico que espero es que no aumente su numero.

But you would if more Italian, French, and Polish speakers were moving to america. In fact, Italians once had the same bigotry problems that spanish speakers now face. So did the German immigrants before them, and the Norwegians, and the Irish, ...

Sadly, there are many americans like Wiglaf who for some reason are terrified of anybody who is different. It is very ironic, considering this is a nation of 270 million immigrants from every part of the world. For some reason all are expected by these fools to fit in, to act american, to speak american, etc. How quickly they forget that their own parents or grandparents faced the exact same hatred that they now direct at mexicans. They are completely oblivious that more foreigners will actually strengthen their own society. Wiglaf is an embarassment.

I gave up ages ago when I realized that there wasn't a debate going on, where everyone actually reads the others' posts and thinks about them. Instead we have Wiglaf vs the World - maybe that's how Wiggy likes it.

I feel even less of a need to post there now that I see Wiggy has been misqouting and flaming me once I left, despite my attempts to keep things neutral!

But it's good to know the side you're on is the tolerant side, and that you are actually literate enough to read ppls' posts.

Now I've read the whole thread, and it's absolutely incredible, even for wiglaf. I've reported the post where he says spanish is crap to the mods. I know it's too late, but that guy is clearly mad.

Sobre lo de Wiglaf... ese se ha leido lo de sargon y su novia y esta aprovechando del rio revuelto. Ningun otro merito. ElAwr se acordara de cuando EvC posteo una thread parecida hace un par de años. Entre Benedetti (por cierto, que gran tipo que era ese pibe!), ElAwr y First Body le pusieron mas insultos en esa thread que todos los que se hayan visto en todas las demas threads de apolyton juntos . Luego resulto que el EvC tiene familia en España y estaba enfadado con un primo o algo asi... ahora que lo pienso, igual Wiglaf se cree que Bananah es la del avatar y quiere ligar con ella
