As waku didn't send it to me, you can't very well skip me now, can you?
Remember Jesus, I waited all summer for you in several games, no?
Please continue from my save.Attached FilesI believe Saddam because his position is backed up by logic and reason...David Floyd

Let's do this: from now on there is a 48-time limit per turn. You don't play, you are skipped. You fail to play three times without a reason, you're out. Of course, justified absences exempted. So please, let the rest know in advance if you won't be able to play in due time.
Now, let's continue with Chris' save. ElAwr, your turn please

We all agreed to this originally, Jay.
But the fact is, in the last few weeks, I have gotten the "Server busy" message dozens of times, even when traffic is light, which is why I wanted to move the games to CFC.
It annoyed me greatly that I couldn't come here, or would be here trying to DL the save only to see that message.
I don't have forever to come here and play, my time is limited, if the site is working, what is one to do?
I offered a solution, and for "Colonies" it is working beautifully, the game moves smooth and freely.
But some people didn't want to, and rather then force the issue, I offered a compromise.
Unfortunatly, human error played a part here, and that does happen, but to be skipped, when I have been consistant for over a year for technical reasons is insulting.
I doubt it would hurt the traffic here to move the games, English has all but vanished on this forum now, and that is what the games are generally played in. but since Martin and Juan don't want to, I respect their wishes.
Playing over me when i couldn't get here was not a nice thing to do.I believe Saddam because his position is backed up by logic and reason...David Floyd

Chris, not to make a mountain out of a sand grain but from the day I posted my turn (Feb 8) to the day ElAwrence played his, skipping over yours (Feb 18), you have posted several times & several days in OT and Apolyton/Community
In addition, you could have told me about your problems via AIM. I am not in the Colonies game thus I don't open that thread.
The thing is I am very very very close to quitting this and SpPr. You know that. Trying to enforce the rule has been my last attempt at savaging the games. If you had those connection problems you should have spoken up, posted a note or something. Had I known, I would not have allowed anyone to play over your turn

I will try to DL the saves at work and send then via mail to home.

It would be a shame to lose these fine games after so many turns and so much time, now wouldn't it?
Plus, what would Martin and I have to fight about then?
