The Sublime Porte announces that the Italian corsairs cowering on their Aegean rocks, called by the Greeks Lesbos and Lemnos, have sustained such substantial losses to their garrisons that their power to resist the will of the Sultan is now non-existant. Turkish occupation troops are on their way to clean out these pirate-roosts. The local people of the isles have petitioned the Faithful not to submit them to reprisals; it seems that they hated the Venetian and Genoese outlaws who held them in thrall. Vast quantities of gunpowder have been seen moving northward through Hungary via long caravans and river barges on the Danube. Sipahi cavalry patrols scour the regions once known as Carinthia and Carniola. The Vlach capital of Bucharest repulsed a probing cavalry assault by some headstrong Turkish ghazis, but these sheepherders will soon bow their heads to the Sultan.

First minister Henri de Lohmander of France reports that all is proceding nicely the nation is still in top when it comes to the economy and trade routes have been opened whit France's whealty neighbor the netherlands.
Although the Spanish king still claims them to be part of the Spanish kingdom France issued a proclamation where the Netherlands is recognised as a what it is an independent State of great importance.
Although we are formally at war whit this state (they had some foggy alliance whit Vennice it appears) the French-Dutch relations is better than ever.
Salut

Meanwhile, the decease of Queen Elizabeth has brought about the pronounciation of the Prince Regent Martin Duke of Northumberland after he occupied Parliament and seized power with the army.
Thousands of supporting peasants flocked to their towns to defend Parliament but these rebellions were quelled and they have been imprisoned and sentenced to hard labour in the improving of the nation's agricultural and mineral assets as well as the maintenance of roads.
Also, a weapons caravan has stopped at Dover and awaits embarkation towards the continent as well as a leather caravan disembarking near Limmerick at its own risk, as revolting peasants are thought to be present in the are.

The cyclades are now Turkish possessions. The Sultan's loyal guards have occupied both Lesbos and Lemnos, where they were welcomed by the local inhabitants. The Sublime Porte at once set about repairing extensive damage to the harbors on these isles. Turkish galleys and galliots are even now massing off Euboea near Negroponte, while Turkish guards march overland through the Morea toward Modon. First, Greece and the Isles, then; Crete and Rhodes. Intense fighting around the siegeworks near Pressburg continues, but the Grand Vizier, Mustapha Ibn Phenix, has maneuvered some of his troops away from the walls of the town.
Inshallah!

HRH Charles, annouces a day of rememberence for the brave men lost in defense of god and their country. Heavy losses among our forces have been incurred at the fortress city of Pressburg, but the bastion still holds. "We have sent many of the godless heathens to their just desserts", his Majesty has said. In other Imperial news, peace is the rule as far as the other great powers are concerned. His Majesty calls on all of Christian Europe to resist the hated Turks. God save the Hapsburgs! By order, HRH Charles, Holy Roman Emperor. <> File sent to Fiera (Spain).

All quiet on the Spanish Front. I've heard the call of our cousin the Emperor, and I send him a message of hope: the mighty Spanish Navy continues to take absolute command of the Gibraltar Strait and of the Western Mediterranean coasts. Soon the Mediterranean will be a Christian lake!
