No list of Diplomacy information is complete without mentioning the http://www.diplom.org/Diplomacy Pouch web site. The place has articles covering every one of the countries, strategy, tactics, negotiating tricks, as well as, information about online Judging programs and map generators.

BTW Orange the Diplomacy rule book is actually copy righted and is illegal to post. Avalon Hill actually wants people to go out and buy the game and not just download it off the net. I'm not trying to be a nanny but I don't want 'poly to get sued either.

If people want to buy it then the can get it at any of the below links.

      Toys R US
      Avalon Hill
      Hasbro

You can also find discount copies on E-Bay or just go to your local toy store.

Avalon Hill also wants to sell you the deeds to the Brooklyn Bridge, but you might end up with more than a double handful of trouble if you buy that one.

Do you know how many emails you can archive before litigation over a license concludes? I lost count, but it was A CARTLOAD.

Quit talking out of your ass. Avalon Hill links the damn thing from the very site that you posted, for christ's sake.

Orange I am not talking out of my ass. That's what I've read on a few sites any way. The rule book is part of the game and the game is copy righted unless Hasbro changed things when they bought Avalon Hill and released the rule book to the public. I don't care about but I thought I'd meantion it to help keep poly out of trouble.

Avalon Hill changed their policy with respect to the Dip rules. Oerdin's info was just out of date, not "ass-talk".
What's so funny 'bout peace, love and understanding?

They must indeed have changed their policy because I can remember back in the early 1990's when I played Dip on Prodigy a reprentative from Avalon Hill used to post regular threats to sue people who posted the rules. They really wanted people to buy the game instead.

It seems they've now changed their mind.
