OK, let's keep the UN things here. So far, we have on the Security Council:

Franco-Spain
England

Russia

Any other issues dealing with the UN (ie: appeals to the world, etc.)

We'd like to issue a formal complaint against Chile and Argentina, who have blockaded Cape Horn and attempted to invade the Falklands. We think that the UN should take appropriate sanctions against those rogue states.

The CRME Feels a major section of the world is being underrepresented: The Middle East. The CRME, Iraniaq and Arabic Union make up most of the World' Oil Supply, and combine to have a huge military. We feel we should also combine to a Security Council seat. We would ask the UN to consider having one more Security council seat to represent the Three Scimitar's of the Middle East. (If granted, Djug, Bas, and I would all control that one seat.

The NSF (formerly Franco-Spain) votes YEA on imposing an embargo on Argentina and Chile and NAY on adding the 3 Scimitars to the Security Council, and would like to use it's seat on the Security Council to VETO that measure.
(OOC:I assume members of the Security Council are allowed to veto items...)

The German Empire questions whether any organization such as the security council would be complete without the German Empire having a seat on it. The German Empire feels that it deserves a seat on the security council.

The UK obviously votes YEA on the embargo of Chile and Argentina until the blockade is released.

The UK also wishes to propose that a multinational force under the UN banner repulse these nations on their assualt of the sovereign Commonwealth state of New Zealand.

The USSR WILL continue to fight. As we have stated before, we have not done anything wrong. We have not attacked Germany, they attacked us. As for hosting the Polish renegades, it was looked upon as an act of solidarity at the time. Any country with a moral would do the same. As for terrorism, one can only draw conclusions in one direction when it comes to the mystical sinkings of several ships in the North Sea. Who is now the terrorist? And before any of you say "Ahem, remember the Reichstag?", I say that we are both terrorists. We out of necessity, Germany because they could. I will also take this to the UN and plead my cause for the Security Counsil. I hereby also plead my cause to all of the other countries in the world for help or sympathy. This is David versus Goliath, and if we have any hope whatsoever to survive, we need help.

As stated elsewhere, Germany makes its case:

The criminal actions of the nation of Poland cannot be doubted. They sank the Russian carrier Kiev, sank Russian freighters, attempted to murder then Russian President Putin, and masterminded a similar attempt to murder Kaiser Friedrich Wilhelm II, the German Emperor. For these actions the criminal nation of Poland and its leaders had to be punished. Germany took action to this end.

Unfortunately, the criminal leadership of Poland escaped the German expeditionary force, and was welcomed with open arms by Scandinavia, who harbored them, assisted them, and even funded their efforts at continued terrorism. Germany asked only for their extradition to a neutral third party nation for trial. Scandinavia stalled and eventually refused this initiative.

As for the Polish fleet, fortunately whoever sank the Polish forces did not resort to killing civilians. The Polish fleet was a renegade military remnant of a nation with whom the German Empire was at war. Germany has not resorted to killing civilians in the Scandinavia or occupied Poland in revenge for the terrorism against German civilians who were murdered in the Reichstag attack. German military commanders have repeatedly requested permission to bomb Scandinavian refugee camps and strafe refugee convoys. These requests have been denied. We will not stoop to their level.

Scandinavia had ample opportunity to send the Polish renegades to a neutral nation where they would stand trial. They did not take this action. A trial was all that was requested by the German government. They repeatedly stalled and refused.

Yesterday, the USSR handed over 4 Polish Super Intel Agents. "Take 'em" said one Swede "They don't know anything useful, dunno why we bothered to hide them".

Also we vote yea to let the middle east being allowed on the security council!

Brazil feels that the Security Council needs a representative from South America. The only two likely candidates are the NSR and Peru. Please vote on this as it may be the deciding point of many issues.

Russia uses her veto power to close the issue of adding members to the security council.

Russia feels that it would undermine the council by adding to many countries with veto power over each other. None of these proposed powers is even a nuclear power, nor do they have the GNP, military, and diplomatic history of current members.

We could consider adding them as tempororary observers to the meetings, with no real veto or voting power.
