Total a proposition went before the people of Canada. Fight to maintain UK control of the area, or give in to Fascism. The people, after watching their homes and loved ones killed by CW and CTA bombs, chose quickly and overwhelmingly. Over 500,000 men voluntarily enlisted giving proof to the phrase "Give me liberty or give me death." Under the UK democracy, the people were free. Under CW fascism, they were not. With this thousands upon thousands of men choose almost certain death. Most new enlistees would be given a rifle and a light antitank weapon and basic training before being sent to combat. They would have less than 1/3 the training of regular forces and so would be used primarily as fodder.

Astute and Emerald Class ships begin to arrive in the battlezone. At least 2 Emeralds are guarding Resounding fury with their seawolf missiles(capable of shooting down 4 inch shells so don't just kill em with harpoons.)
Just north of Thunder Bay, a corps of 20,000 crack UK soldiers met advance elements of the CW army. The CW had sent mostly tanks on its assualts hoping for the coup de grace before the UK could respond. But now that decision would haunt them.(basing on post in last thread) At least 400 M1A2 Abrams tanks met the corps. The UK soldiers quickly elimininated the token infantry guarding the tanks. Then the began firing LAW's into he tank force. Now everyone knows a LAW has no chance of even denting M1 armor and the Tankmen quickly gained the upper hand, repulsing the UK soldiers and pursuing them as the ran in dissarray. Suppendly hundreds of BILL top attack missiles and heavier MILAN types began to pound the tanks. he Milans could remove a track and had a small chance of a definite kill. The bills on the other hand, shredded the M1s. By the end of the battle over 320 CW tanks had met theri end with 2,100 supporting infantry. But the UK payed with the lives of 3,000 veterans. And it could only get worse as the UK had lost any chance for air superiority with the CTA bombardment. If the UK failed to win this way, there would be almost nothing left of Canada for the CW to claim. Our backs are now against the walls.......

To CW,

If you value the lives of millions of civilians, you will withdraw from Canada. We will give up portions of western canada but so help me god, we will fight tooth and nail for the lives of our citizens. You may win this war, but it at the cost of thousands. You will come out of this weakened and broken even if we come out shattered. This i promise you.

To Peru,

Pull out of this war. It is not your concern. We are glad to see you come to our aid but this war is us and the CW beating each other to a bloody pulp. We see no reason for you to suffer as well.

To France,

We applaude your attempts for peace, but it's not going to happen. You have an interest here as the CW is hellbent on removing foreign "influence" from the america's. You control Quebec. You will be their next target if they can still fight when we are through.

To ICE,

we have nothing to gain by war and would greatly appreciate peace. We also now it will not happen untill one of the great powers of America is no more. Perhaps you should consider which side you are on as this war is expanding. Do you defend freedom and democracy, or do you side with dictators and murderers.

Actually. I will tell you what Hans. Just surrender Greece and Cyprus now, and we'll both save ourselves a bloody fight which I will eventually win- and if I win I will probably take Libya too.

At 0400 hours local time, Turkish guerillas began to rise up in the North of Cyprus. This was in conjuction with CRME invasion plans. The CRME quickly gained supieroity in the air, for altough Eurofighters were present, it was no match for the large amount of F-16's of the CRME and the combined air forces of Turkey, Israel, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan. With Air Superiority reached, Italian navy forces were bombed from aircraft from the mainland, ans Submarine and frigates were sent in. With Air superiority soon came sea Superiority, and the X corps landed in Northern Cyprus, along with one Paratrooper divsion. With Air Superiority, the CRME pressed South, and due to the flat landscape and the CRME having Chobham tanks, including Leo II's, Italy was unable to resist, and troops were able to take Nicosia, with Italy in large scale retreat. In Greece the Advance was slower for the V, VI, VII, and VIII corps spilling over the border. However, due to air and tank superiority, once again troops were able to advance, and the troops are now in a line facing west, just 5 miles west of Komotini. In Egypt, troops are ready to defend against an Italian incursion. And with the Resevres called up and the CRME's huge coast defense project worked up and reserve troops, already called up alon the west- are ready to protect against a trans-Aegean offensive.

Wait- does Hans control the lands I am attacking? If not, substitute "Italian Forces" with "Greek and Cypriot Forces". If I have any ability to claim the lands I am attacking, I do so. Anyway, if Hans tries to fight for Greece and Cyprus, I have a much stronger military and am allied with all the Middle East.

Minutes after celebrating the New Year, the CW launched a massive assault on Canadian and British positions throwing fresh troops and vehicles against the hard pressed defenders. The fourth army advanced from the Stanford salient north to a line following the towns of Kincardine and Listowel, while other elements advanced south to Throndale, near the London holdouts.
The Fifth army, tasked with the capture of London, rushed in for a massive assault, but stalled in the towns of Komoka and Ilderton in front of fanatic Canadian defenders. Other elements advanced along the Erie coast to the city of Aylmer in an attempt to encircle London and starve it out.
In an unprecedented allowance, the UDSA graciously allowed our forces to cross their borders and assault southeastern Ontario. The units blitzed into the undefended area, with most troops near London, but met increasingly numerous and fanatic defenders, and they finally bogged down along a north-south axis running from Dundras to Brantford to Otterville to Simcoe.
In the west, Sault Ste Marie was finally broken, and the units blitzed through the Canadian lines. Leaving the burning city behind them, the CW troops rapidly advanced into the Canadian countryside where they encountered small bands of well armed troops and lost many of their own troops in fierce little firefights across the forests. The troops stopped advancing after taking unprecedented casualties near Elliot Lake in the east and Marathon in the west.
In the air, CW airforce units concentrated on bombing military and transportation targets. Highway junctions and military convoys were assaulted in astonishing numbers. The outskirts of London were bombed into moonscapes to prevent reinforcements from arriving. A mile long amunition train was strafed and the fighters were destroyed in the explosion as it devastated a huge area.
At sea, CW surface vessels captured almost a hundred ships, some bearing freight others bearing food, and the entire fishing fleet was captured off the coast of Nova Scotia. Only 13 vessels were destroyed in the blockade so far, but troop and supply ships had yet to begin arriving from the home islands.
Off the English coast, CW submarines preyed on British supply ships, while surface vessels in the North Sea attacked English and Scotish ports and harbors. The North Sea fishing fleet was devastated by carrier raids and capital ship bombardments, while merchant vessels were being cut off from England herself by the subs. The plan to blockade both ends of the British Commonwealth was so far underway without a hitch...so far.

Kirk, sorry dude, Croatio is mine per the post. It is too strategicly important to give up, so I have it, tough. You can take the Japanese empire though, a fine country.

Prime Minister Victor Geovilli couldn't believe it. His Conservative Party, which had won a sweeping majority in the last parlimentry elections, allowing him to come to power without having to form a coalition. Now the Muslims had invaded and the party was ready to split. He had to take action quickly.

Eurofighter Enters Production

The Eurofighter, an advanced tactical fighter that Italy helped develop, has finished testing and has entered mass production. Six hundred will be built this year, with another six hundred entering service next year

Today, the Philippine government announces it is fearing for its future due to the current situation in Japan. Therefor, the Coalition government announces that the Philippines will be added to the Coalition territority.

The topic has been discussed with the Japanese government, which agrees to the deal if the Coalition government provides them with military equipment worth 4 billion USD. All Japanese soldiers will be removed from the Philippines inside three months.
