The first thing the Caecinians do is uproot themselves and migrate farther upstream into central India, but still staying on the Ganges. They got tired of their old home after a cyclone destroyed their village for the fourth time in 30 years.

However, the counsil decided that our future lies in the West. The ancient tribes, which call themselves "Greek", don´t care whether foreign people settle along their coast. They are selfish and ignorant, but we can use this for our advantage.
Their land is rich in whool, and they know how to grow wine and olive trees. There´s much we could learn from them, and our Elders didn´t see any dangers for us in that land.

People of Constantinople, your high priest asks you to chose one of three men and one of three women to set sail to the spot known as 'Chalkis'. It is located in the middle of a huge Island to the Northeast of the Greek town of Athenai. Found a permanent settlement there, and scout the whole area for future town sites.

The Caecinians have entered that glorious age of their history forever after known as the "Era of Wandering Around and Throwing Stones at Each Other". They will continue to do this for the next couple hundred years while they work on developing agriculture

Ok, here´s a prototype of a map

When new technologies for mapping and measuring become available, the map will get more detailed and much more pretty.

The light green indicates the current territory of Byzantium.
The light blue areas represent the current expansion zones.

For now, Byzantium just wants to establish first colonies. It is not neccessary to have land connections between them (our idols are the ancient Greek, who have settled the whole mediterranean sea in during the copper age).

The Byzantines continue to peacefully expand, landing several settlers in Greece and founding the settlements of Chalkis and Thessalonica. But a group of people calling themselves Spartans see Byzantine as a threat and do not wish to associate with them peacefully.

With more and more fertile land in the kingdom, plus and exceptional series of harvests, the economy of Badab has increased for free!!

After a devastaing tornado ripped through there tiny nation, Caecina uprroted itself and is now prospering in Central India.

New nations of Novgorod, Kiev, South Africa, and Lustra formed.
