I think that it'd be best if we made a substantial modification to the date. I know this seems picky, but won't anyone else feel a little strange sending tanks out in 500 BC? If we just move the time to somwhere around 1000 BC, make no other changes and just continue as if we've been filling up the time and the recent 3500-3200 updates were actually 3500- 1000ish, then as we progress the time woudln't be messed up too much. This would have the additional benefit that we woudl know roughly where our technological/social levels were if we followed a roughly accurate time projection, instead of waiting in uncertainty for SKILORD to tell us when techs exist.

It works for me.

The Councel sat on his throne reading the peace terms the senate authorized, he thought them more then kind; after all persia had tried he thought they should be punished even more but the senate thought other wise they had to answer to there cities and thats where the troops came from so the war would end if Persia would take these terms:

Persia to give up all lands in Arabia
Persia to give up all lands 100 miles deep along there other boarders with Phoenecia
A 10 mile DMZ to be created along our boarders

So the Councel gave the treaty signed by him to the corier, who then ran on his way to Persia.

Please give your nother area more rights they are begging for our help and the people of Phoenecia wish to help. I don't know if I can stop war if you don't give the north more rights.

Build a new GRAND wonder!!!: From the gigantic surplus in the treasury gathered over the centuries of passive isolation a new wonder will be built.
A giant temple, holding a statue of the first Khan sitting on his throne. Mongols will be required to make a pilgrimage each year (during the spring season) to this HUGE temple. And every year a festival will be held here during that time where free food and wine is given to the people. [the temple is going to be huge, the highest cielings, largest statues, and most space taken up by a single building in the world! Huge thick columns will hold this place up. A small army of statues of Keshik riders will be in another chamber of the temple being led by the second Khan on horseback. And other smaller statues will fill other chambers. Very large gardens will be in yet other chambers, and fresh water springs as well as hot springs. Wild animals gathered from around the world will fill a different chamber that holds a large area divided into sections and will resemble the animals specific habitat. Visitors will be able to walk above them and look down for walk ways will be made. And yet another chamber will hold statues of every Khan. ] It will be called, The Haven of Khan. The date of completion is not yet known. It will be built in the most suitable place, and easily defendable place, probably close to the capital, center of the nation.

The divisions of Greece:

On the Greek Peninsula and the immediate vicinity, chaos and bloodshed reigns. Southern Greece has calmed down, a loose order has been restored under one Agamemnon, but it is an empty victory. over half of the population of southern Greece is dead and most of the remaining infrastructure is gone. It is in a deep dark age, but Socrates realm is beginning to fleurish, filling the gap that has been left. A comprehensive alliance has been signed among the dicordant factions of Greece.

As I've tried to moderate NESes all it has ever proven is that I'm too busy to do so, yet I stupidly continue to try.
