King Yirr the Conqueror died in battle, but successfully completed the conquest of Dravidia. His son, the new second-in-command of the army, was promptly elected King Yirr II. Kileeas I's Yinea, Amefaas, was elected King as well after Kileeas's death. They have announced that per the plans of their predecessors Amelaria will be renamed the Empire of Ingevidia. With the authorization of the Assembly, the government will be reorganized. There will be three Provinces: India (capital Karachi), Gangea (capital Calcutta), and Dravidia (capital Madras). The provinical goernments will run most detailed domestic affairs. The Imperial government will remain quite similar to how it has been in the past, except that some of the positions on the High Council have changed/removed and some new ones as representatives of the provincial governments have been added.
There has been increasing pressure within Ingevidia to stop the many wars and conquests they have been involved in recently and instead focus on expanding the economy and infrastructure. The governemnt has increasingly begun to regulate the economy, in general to promote the interests of the merchants at the expense of the worker and agricultural classes. The Kings have promised "30 years of peace and prosperity".
To Persia: We would like to have trade and friendship with you.
To Vietnam: No, we will not go to war with some faroff nation we have barely even heard of. Good luck.
Orders: Continue building lots and lots of wars. Try to conquer Ceylon (Sri Lanka) as a last addition to the Ingevidian Empire. Cut back military spending a bit, try to grow economy a lot.
