The Constuction of the Great Pryimaids of Egypt comes along well. Allthough the current Pharoh will never see it, he will be buried in it though.
Pharoh Jack_www II has order the construction of new ships that can hold more people and supplies. Ten of these ships will be made and used to explore the seas around Egypt. These Ships will of course stay close to the shore.
Also anther Scouting party will be sent futher down the Nile and look for more places for our people to settle. Allthough their are reports their are tribes of people already living in those areas, and if so a army of War Chariots will be sent to move them as it were once their numbers can be detrimined.
Also a grainery in the capital and anther city futher down the nile are being built to store the excess grain.
To All Nations(which are in contact with Egypt):
We wish to sell our excess grain, as the fertile flood plains of the Nile make grow grain easy and thus we have lots of grain to sell. Thus if you need grain we can come to a deal.
The Catamarans of Urthal are going to make their way down the Australian coast, crushing Aboriginal resistance and spreading the news of the indefatigability (Is that a word?) of the Bronze weapons. We'll kick some real Aborigine ass, scare them.
Send settlers down to keep them down and bring them into our culture.
Welcome to Antiquity. You will notice that most of you expanded more than usual, congratulations, the barbarians began to fall back totally.

The Quebecois Gauls lay dead on the field. Rome had conqured, Rome always would. General Africanus would ensure that, he would have to add another page to his history of the Quebecos now, their defeat, which would resound through history to the tune of the Roman marching band.
Grinning with anticipation he set his army to rest. They would need it for the next campaigns, to meet the Mowhawks. Africanus couldn't wait.

Iron was drawn from the earth by the new slaves, Gallic slaves. Brennus's conquest was repaid in full now, an eye for an eye, as the old Semerian saying went. The Iron would be finely molded into the swords that would ensure the conquest of their brethren.

The Welsh High Lords submitted themselves to the Druid nation, seeing the inevitability of defeat, they surrendered to the Druid empire. The Irish, on the other hand, shouted a war cry and shot their arrows at the ships as they dumped soldiers on the coast. They lost a good deal of land. But remain defiant.

Rome
Wisconsin

Amelaria
Amelaria ragained control of it's economy, through trade with Phoenecia.
What? I said that the trade would be almost entirely unrestricted, that would lessen the control of the economy, not increase it!
Makuus II's son and the new King, Makuus III, was disgruntled with his aging great-grandmother Yinea's (she lived a very long time) influence and power in the government. He banished her from Amelaria, though she managed to ide in Karachi until she died. Makuus then began undoing the reforms of his father and grandfather. He often ignored the Council's advice, and finally stopped even letting them advise him at all. He also began returning power to the fading aristocracy and heavily taxing merchants. This all exploded when the King increased taxes for the first aggressive war Amelaria waged since Makuus I became King. The merchants, supporters of the Council, and the army all revolted. Makuus was quickly deposed and fled to Southern India. A man named Evissuai Loppotoc led the rebels and created a new government that would be known as the Amelarian Republic. Amelaria would be governed by two bodies, the Assembly and the High Council. The Assembly would be 101 elected representatives of the people. The High Council would be a more advanced form of the Council of the Twelve. It would have one representative from each of the twenty former great house of the various towns of Amelaria, including the Eleven of civman2000, the Royal House of Karachi, and the Silenus House of Chiefs. The heir to the Amelarian dynasty who would've been King under the former government, currently a second cousin of Makuus III named Pria III, would also be on the Council. The Council would include 5 elected representatives of the people, two elected leaders from the Assembly, and the top two miltary officials as well. Every twenty years or whenever a King died, the COuncil would elect two Kings from itself. Each King would appoint a chief advisor to be confirmed by the majority of the Assembly, called a Yinea in honor of the late architect of Makuus I and II's reforms. The Yinea are members of the Council as well, and whenever the King that appointed one of them is replaced they are replaced or reappointed.
Overall, the Assembly, High Council, and Kings share power more or less equally. Each has certain powers, most of which are to become established by tradition. Mainly, the Assembly alone has the power to raise taxes and call for a change of the government structure.
Orders: Grow army to Medium, Navy to Small. Equip the army with iron and wage offensive wars if necessary to secure sources of iron. Attack any nation that was friendly to Makuus III, including the one in Southern India that gave him refuge.
"ROME has conquered again!" said Emperor Cinna to some of his most distinguished compatriots.
"We own more than any mortal has or ever will! For this we must give thanks to our Jupiter and thanks to our Victory for making Rome more powerful than any have ever dreamed!" As he finished ruckus cheers went up throughout the group and thousands more cheered in the city streets. As the emperor spoke he knew he was soon to be boarding his distinguished fleet to sail to 'Nova Brunswick' where a fort and harbor had been constructed. There General Africanus waited patiently, drilling his troops to take the entire seaboard.
As the emperor arrived in Nova Brunswick he was briefed on the situation. Africanus had learned about a tribe of barbaric savages called 'Moh-awks' who roamsthe lands south of Rome. He sent Quebecos spies who infiltrated their camps and brought back valuable information. The General knew these were no ordinary foes, they were as obsessed with war as glorious Rome herself and were eagerly awaiting a worthy opponent. They had yet to learn the secrets of the bronze
spear and knife as Rome had, but no doubt they had formidable skills. Unlike Roman legions, or even Quebecos legions for that matter, they rarely followed the "rules" of combat. They used guerilla tactics that the gods surely frowned upon. Worst of all, they never took
prisoners. They killed everytime. Rumor had it that an enemy village was burned so badly the women and children were unrecognizable. This scared the General, but not too much. He was eager to try his new three pronged tortoise attack on these 'Moh-hawks'. This
had been the fall of the Quebecos and the same would certainly happen to these savages as well. After all, as long as our gods were appeased nothing bad could come to Rome.

Rome mobilizes her forces to sent to New Brunswick where they will prepare to raid the Mowhawk tribe.
Halt to Expansion to focus on conquest
OOC: its only 3700 BC, don’t you think it’s quite early for iron? I think we should wait until at least the 2nd Millennium, possibly even the 1st, considering that’s when iron actually started to become widespread. If the goal is getting tech out there quickly, maybe the turns should encompass more time for a little while, perhaps 100 years/turn until ~2000 BC?
“Yes, it is time to make pictures standard, and numbers, too. Those merchants have the right idea. I’m tired of getting cheated out of our tax because of disagreements over how many Boulder’s worth of wheat is owed us. Pick one of those ‘alphabet’ systems operating; maybe simplify it a little so that it’s precise and efficient. Maybe correlate it to some system of weights or something. I don’t care what as long as it can be made standard.”
“Yes, councilwoman.”
Summary: Devise alphabet and number system, weights and measures etc. that can be standardized and applied across the nation.
Those walls are absent of glory as they always have been. The people of tents will inherit this land.

Masonry has been perfected by a guy named chuck, Maso never got his women, and it was considered a minor discovery, Currency is still the primary god and focus of the Wisconsinites.

Marathon, the reason my friends and I have been playing the same hotseat game since 2006...
Peaceful explorers have been sent eastwards via canoe to meet with the large tribe which rumors have spread of. They offer a potential alliance, and information sharing, as this tribe has proved to be more powerful and intelligent than others the Wisconsinites have encountered.

The Durid High Lord was proud, the entire island of Britian lay under their domain and the Irish were falling back. Time would tell if their conquest woulld be worthy.
The Welsh Longbowmen (new UU) were proving a valuable additon to the Druid Army. Soon the Druid Empire would not be confined to these two islands.
