  • India to Germany (SECRET) :

we can make modifications to the plan, no problem, but we think it makes more sense to have clear defined regions of control, the simpler the better. So if you want Saudi Arabia, you're welcome to it. You can have Kuwait as well if its important to you, but we think that it make sense to leave parts of it to us (however much is within 50 miles of the sea). We also assume that the oil deposits that are in the sea will be left to us, but that of course can be negotiated.

    to China:

What exactly is it you want us to do? We won't lie, Malaysia and Indonesia are effectively part of India now, but that was entirely their choice and they still retian autonomy and we don't force anything on them. Both sides are benefiting from our union, we think that makes it just. These places that clearly chose our system of government and economics, just aren't going to be handed over to communists, but we're sure there is some way we can work out a transfer of at least most of the territory if that's what you really want.
Those walls are absent of glory as they always have been. The people of tents will inherit this land.

    • To India (secret): We would very much like Saudi Arabia, more so than Kuwait. As for Kuwait itself - we are under the impression that pactically all of it is within 50 miles of the ocean.

As for the oil in the ocean - of course, though our companies may offer to invest in it.

      • To India:
We want to be sure that our nation first off will have acess to oil and other resouces that China and Japan will need. Second we do not want the territory our allies, the Japanese want the territories back. For now we will seek peacefull means to settle this. But as long as we have the resouces we need and Japan is payed for the lose then we would call it even for now.

        • To China: As we have said to you, the territories currently occupied by India have no connection to Japan; they are a legacy of Japanese imperialism. Whether they want the territory back is irrelevant; it isn't theirs, and the inhabitants don't want it to be.

As we have said that we are willing to part with the claims to these lands if Japan is paid for them at a reasonable price and that China and Japan has acess to the resouces in those lands as well as in the Middle East.

            • India to China:

and our allies the Japanese government in exile would very much like their land back as well. Since both cannot be appeased, we reccomend we settle for the current situationand try to stay peaceful (even though your communist allies clearly got the better part of the bargain land-wise, but the exiles got the better deal government/economy wise ). The resources you seek will always be available as long as you are willing to pay a reasonable price for them.

              to Germany (SECRET) :

We don't want to mislead you, you may have to share Saudi Arabia with the communists and it only includes the non coastal zones anyway, but if you are satisfied with that we are willing to let you have it in exchange for the entirety of Kuwait and the tiny strip of coastal land in Iraq.

              • To India (secret): Most of Saudi Arabia is of little concern to us anyway, what we're after is the oil. If we can have that, and the territory we need to make defensible, you can have Kuwait and the coast of Iraq, and the communists can have the rest.

The banks will be able to set up branches in 3 years time. They can now proceed with finding a site for the branches and other work that they need to do before setting up opperations.

German National Airways, as with all airlines will only be able to handle international flights into Chinese cities. Domestic flights will be handled by the Chenese national Airline. We may consider bying planes as the need asires for our new airline.

Heckler & Koch cannont sell arms to the millitary etheir they are made in China or bought from our allies, such as the Soviet Union. Thus they will not be able to sell weapons in China.

Agricultural companies can start to buy rice from us and we would like to pruchase the agricultural implements your companies wish to sell and other technologies that will bost food production.

                  ooc:
You dont have to list all the companies that want to come to China, I dont mean I want to approve of all of them myself. I would assume that they would start to come and the government would look to see what they can and cant do, that I would not personally write all of it down.

We are starting to be aware of your efforts to controll the oil supply of the middle east. We want a share in this. We warn you not to give the communist nations the short end of the stick or we will insure that we get the oil that we need.

To China: Most of the corporations have expressed satisfaction at your decision, except of course for H & K, who are understandably disappointed. The banks are proceeding with the pre-startup work, as you have suggested, but would like to know if they would be permitted to buy land or buildings ahead fo time for when they can open up.

                      • To China: Do you have any evidence of these allegations? We have no aggressive intentions towards the Warsaw Pact at all, and even if we did take over the ME oil sipplies, the Russians have massive oilfields in the Caucausus and Siberia, remember?

We never felt threaten. But from certain messages sent to Polland and a recent public message made to India makes us wonder what you plans for the Middle East are. The Middle East according to some scientist we have talked to has 80% of the world's oil supply, and we would like a share in it too. Our oil companies want to start dirlling in the area. We think keeping the area independent would be best for all.

                          • OOC: I forgot to mark that message 'secret'. Can we just say that was a mistake, and pretend that it was always secret? Such things happen to everybody, after all.

oh, well then nvm, but China would be very upset if you left them with out any oil. Maybe even to the point of using force to get the oil they need.

                              • OOC: China wouldn't be denied oil unless it started throwing it's weight around hard enough for us to consider it worth it, given that such an act would violate the treaty we signed after the Warsaw Pact invasion.
