To the USA: Japan has little interest in the political going-ons of North and South America. ie, we mind our own bussiness, and set our sights on other lands. In exchange for this indifference, we would like to purchase the Philippenes, and begin friendly trade between our nations.

To China: Russia has invaded from the North, France has taken the South, and we make advances daily in Manchuria. Give up the parts of this region you have left, and we will leave the rest of your country independent. In addition, we shall supply military and financial aid to Beijing.

To USA:

Canada shall remain in the commonwealth, but it is being given a greater degree of internal autonomy and full and equal representation in british government.

To Ottomans:

At this time we must decline to sell Egypt because even if you were able to muster the money necessary for the purchase it would drive your already failing economy so far into the ground that Egypt and your entire empire would suffer. (To put it bluntly). We hope we haven't offended you, but for the time being our answer is no.

to all the nations that offered to trade or have close diplomatic ties with us:

Britain extends its protection to any part of China that wants it with the following stipulations:

-The Chinese areas will retain completely autonomous if they so wish, they will have the power to completely regulate their internal affairs and no taxes etc. will be collected by British unless the territory specifically requests improvements or special projects.

-Any citizen of the british empire that wishes to immigrate or buy property etc. in China that has the finances to make an equitable deal will not be denied just because they aren't Chinese. This works the other way around as well. Also applies to business and trading etc.

-The british navy and army, as a way of enforcing the protectorate status, will be allowed to to station or travel through the territory but will not unnecessarily infinge in any way.


The british navy and army detachments are now stationed off the Chinese coast and Indian border waiting for any Chinese areas to accept.

To Venezuela: Would you join in a limited military alliance with France, Argentina, and (possibly) Brazil? We would agree assist each others forces in the Western Hemisphere against agression that we agree is unessecary.

So, you have apparantly accepted our offer of alliance, and yet have taken agressive action to protect the government of China who we are at war at? Which side to you claim to be on? We only ask that you do not interfere with the negotiation of the Chinese surrender. What occurs after that above our terrirtory line is your business. Still, we hope for continued friendship, and again express our belief in the need for an alliance between our nations.

clearly we would not attempt to take any territory that you (or Japan) already control, but we feel that the remainder of China and the Chinese people have a right to govern their own lives, which is what we are offering them. If China prefers to be taken under France or Japan or China or keep trying to be on its own completley, we won't try to force anything. We aren't taking agressive action agianst anyone, merely providing more options for the Chinese.
