Of course, you can still revolt but Germany is strong...

"India has collapsed under our joint offensive with China. They're prepared to conclude a separate peace outside of their alliance."

Aronovich nodded. What a world! Unrest on the other side of the globe leads to war on the continent...who could figure it! The hapless Indians had faced the massive Red and People's armies, with the expected result. The other Native Allies seemed reluctant to lock horns with the huge Communist powers.

"What of the Martians?"

"We report that their faction wishes to join The Warsaw Pact. Under the guise of peace keeping and fighting fascism, we have a chance to gain a powerful check against the Americans."

"Excellent. This makes up for the Canadian debacle." The NKVD men had been released in exchange for a large but undisclosed sum of money. "Support the rebels, but remember that we're fighting for Aztec self-determination and against Fascism. Make that clear to NATO."

"NATO." Beria scoffed. "They're lost in some dispute over Denmark, I'm told."

"Well, keep an eye on it. Dismissed."

OOC: I'd think USA or U.K. would be a better choice than a ostensibly independent country...without a strong NATO the Communists are free to dominate. If you want, though, I don't see the need to be at odds with Germany, if they're both in NATO.

civman2000 reviewed the reports he had been given. Blueb Heaven and Denmark had been admitted into NATO. Fortunately, he had Russia on his side.

The big problem was that any further offensive against Blueb Heaven would trigger world war.

He grinned evilly, and called his military advisor.

"Resume offensive. Don't wait for any more orders until we have the panama canal."

"But NATO will be pulled into the war!"

"Yes, but remember, the Russians can do the same to NATO they did to India." He hung up.

The military advisor, named Arky Morton, had made up his mind. civman was insane, Italy and France would crush them from behind. He called up the new Guyanan President, Guy Ana.

"President Ana?"

"Speaking."

"This is Arky Morton, leader of the Martian miltary."

"Ah yes. We met at the grand conference in Bogota."

"Yes." He paused. "civman is insane."

"I'm not surprised."

"He wants to resume the offensive on Blueb Heaven."

"And...?"

"They are now members of NATO."

"Oh God no. SO why did you call me?"

"TO tell you that I intend to fuse the MArtian Empire and Guyana. Under you. And we can stay neutral in the world. I have control of the army, they're more loyal to me than to civman."

"OK. Do it. But I get control afterwards."

"Don't worry, don't worry."

Arky is in the process of conquering Mars for Guyana, but civman thinks he's just rebelling to seize power for himself. Mars is now in Anarchy, Guyana has made peace with the BLuebs and the rest of the native alliance, and a new map is attached.
