In Canada:
The Aztec king knew what the Canadians were doing. Luckily, his spies had been in the Kremlin whaen MR. Mulrooney had visited. As the Canadian helicopter carried him and the Russians toward Ottawa, he sneekily got a parachute on. He suddenly lunged for the door, opened it, and jumped as the Canadians tried to restrain him.

The parachute got ripped as the Canadians grabbed the king right before he jumped.

The Soviet "Peace Keeping Force," consisting of a hundred hopelessly obsolete ships, Three Red Infantry Units, One IS-2 armoured unit and a small air wing steamed out of the harbor of Sevastopol. The stated goal was to use force to set up a puppet government, using the king's heir to claim legitimacy. Little did they know that the same heir was not on his way back to Moscow, as promised...

Beria frowned at Ivan Aronovich. "Production on the Kollectiv Farms is down...there may be starvation come winter."

"What do you suggest, Commissar?"

"I say we purge the farmers. Maybe kill every third one."

Aronovich's frown deepened. "If you had your way Beria, all we'd ever do is purges. It isn't going to happen." It was Beria's turn to frown. The previous ruler would have loved the idea.

"Worse news. The NKVD in Canada report the escape of the heir. Last we heard he was in Canadian hands, with three of our spies. The Canadians accuse us of espionage."

"Issue a general denial." This time Beria agreed.

Hopefully that clears things up. The USSR is hoping to use a "peace keeping" force to exploit the Aztec revolution. Meanwhile, the Canadian situation is becoming increasingly unstable. NATO is strangely silent during this crisis...perhaps lacking leadership?

NATO's lack of leadership could mean a hostile neighbor to the north of America. where are the superpatriots? do you not get thoe here?

"And so I conclude: the Aztec Empire is to be hereafter called 'Blueb Heaven' in hnor of the Blueb Monster," the new Aztec--or rather Bluebish--king ended his speech. As he walked away, his Military Advisor rushed up to him.

"There's good news and bad news. First, our allies in the native alliance have joined our war against the evil communists! That's the good news."

"The bad news?"

"Um, we have intercepted two radio messages. You know those two tiny kindoms we never conquered completely in South America?"

"Um, yes."

"Apparently the rebel leaders are now in control of them! Both have contacted Russia proposing to conquer/persuade much of our territory in exchange for being spared by them! And there's more! One of them has proposed joining the Warsaw Pact!"

"Oh God. Well, I guess that leaves us one choice. Get me the telephone line to the American embassy, let's try to join NATO." And silently he added, let's hope that the native alliance doesnt reject us for joining NATO.

So one of the kingdoms, called the Martian Empire in memory of Marsman, has conquered Southwest Azteca and gone communist. The other kingdom is now a republic in control of Southeast Aztec called the Republic of Guyana. The other members of the native alliance have been pulled into war with both of them. I'll put up a new map of the area this afternoon. Of the split Aztec empire, I will take control of the Martian Empire as civman2000 if it's OK.

EDIT: Two things:
1. Blueb Heaven has a fascist-like gov't
2. Guyana and the Martians are pretty friendly toward each other (so far)
