Finnish City of Kemi still holding out
The horrific sound of Russian tanks rolling into the city square could be heard by Kemi citizens. Eye witnesses report that they heard a long series of rocket launches from the woods, that surround the city and roads. Two hours later Lisovites, with their well known Capes with a black leaf drawn on them entered the town and urged everyone to help them set up booby traps, barricades and anti airplane shelters, while they set up the heavy equipment.
We all know the city won't hold out for long. Yet the surprising ability of the Lisovites to work, fight and win from concealment, in SUCH small numbers has astounded everyone (especially Germans and Russians) who shows any interest in this war.

    ..............................................
A lonely Jeep rode into the silent steets of Stockholm. The city, now heavily guarded by German Armor, had become a sign that the Kaiser would not be underestimated no more. German power now extended it's arm all over the world and now even Scandinavia.
The Jeep stopped right infront of the former palace, now the occupants headquarters. Four caped figures and a man in a business suit walked in.
They were greeted with a loud 'Halt'.
"We are emisaries, here as planned before"
"Follow me". The five strangers followed the muscular soldier into a small room, where a meeting was scheduled.
"You are to leave your guns outside"
"We shall do no such thing, though we can bring you some shrubbery"
    "Pardon?"
    "Oh nothing, hehehe, stupid me"
"Ah... well, ahem. How many of you are there?" he asked as the man in the business suit sat down in a chair.
"A lot, no doubt a vast majority will leave but the Poles will keep on fighting, stubborn as they are."
"What is the reason for your treachery?"
"We feel, that fighting for the USSR for free isn't worth it. We were planning to make some profit out of it."
"What do you have for us, something of value perhaps..."
"The designs for the Harpoons and the AFAC-1 Designs. We will give you no more, we will not betray any other secrets nor the positions of the other Lisovites. We want out. We would be glad if you 'employed us' to fight against the eastern menace."
    "Well... Scott, continue...

    ---------------------------------------------
Ferocious fighting was reported near Bergen, where Scandinavian and Polish freedom fighters assualted numerous surrounding bunkers and fortifications. Just when they were getting the upper hand, they mysteriously withdrew.
This was most definately the most succesful and daring, of hundreds that happen daily, hit and fade assualts the guerillas have performed on the Germans. No doubt this war, is going to be a long one.

And I don't think you can make Sweden open, as you told me. There is a war there, and as long as coug and I are fighting, you are just an invader (evil, evil, evil invader).

NOTE: The Big Red Dot in the North is the USSR Army. It is heavily fortified in the mountains, howitzers, mortars, bazookas, anti tank guns and some tanks.
The Dots in Sweden are just small groups of soldiers that are regrouping into Norway.
The Blue line is the Russian and USSR Front in Finland.

    CW News April 1-15 2001

Peace In Quebec...France Backs Down After 2 Week Offensive...Losses Considerably Heavier Than Ontario Campaign

Quebec to be occupied by CW and UDSA...CW Gets Montreal and all points west...UDSA gets Quebec city and east coast.

French withdrawing along with estimated 1 million Quebecois Loyalists...to settle in Algeria

CW Atlantic Fleet damaged in high seas combat...French forces hit equally as hard...

CW Caribbean Fleet to set sail for China for wargames...to join CW China Seas Squadron...ground units faring well against chinese forces in wargames...scores are equal for both nations...evenly matched allies!!

CW Vanguard Base in Iraniraq under construction...city also springing up near base...prefabricated factories en route to site...construction to be completed in summer

CW to build base in Northern Turkey on the Black Sea Coast...Air Force, Army and Navy to be stationed out of huge facility...underwater sub pens as well...construction to begin in May.

CW Military Stands Down...Units regroup and relax and prepare for summer wargames.

To UK: We agree to your proposal for the sale of the said aircraft...we also agree to hop onto the project and we offer an entire wing of both the Oak Ridge Research Facility and the under construction Kitty Hawk Space Complex for the research. This should speed things up tremendously and allow us to centralize our efforts to a few locations!! The payment for the aircraft is a paltry 5 billion dollars. We eagerly await new developments in our researches!!

To FrancoSpain: We officially announce the end of hostilities betweenour noble nation and your colony of Quebec. As the case with the British, our quarrel was with the rulers of Quebec not with her nor your people. Although we are occupying Quebec, we do guarantee the reconstruction of her cities before our troops' housing and her transportation system before our military bases. She is in good hands now...American hands...although we arent the USA anymore, we still consider everyone on this continent American.

To CRME: We accept the offer and the goods are on the way...do we have permission to begin building the base?

To Argentina and Chile: Again we urge you to stand down from your blockade and never again presume to dictate to the lords of the earth again...we would rather smash through your blockade with all guns blazing than pay you a red penny!! I am positive most of the bigger nations of the Earth agree with me on this!!

To China: Our Caribbean Fleet is enroute!! They should arrive on May 1!!

To UDSA: We are proud to present you with the city of Quebec, the southern bank of the St. Lawrence, and the upper east coast of Quebec as a gift to the lasting peace of our alliance!!

To CTA: WE understand your stance on the magnetic trains of yours...we are currently researching them at our Oak Ridge Facility but unfortunately we are at least a year behind you...also in lieu of recent Oil Embargo threats and seeing the difficulty in converting to Hydrogen Fuel, would you be willing to join a research effort between the two of us at the aforementioned facility? Currently our fuel source is about 8% Alcohol and about 12% of the military is Alcohol burning, but that is the maximum we are able to harvest and refine at this time...Hydrogen could cut out the Oil Equation and also give us a cheap, easy and renewable fuel source!! Please consider and respond!!

A deal has been reached with Italy, whereby Italy will produce 500 Arietes for the SAK over the next six months, at $2 million per tank.

The SAK will be paying for these vehicles over the next two years. This purchase will allow the SAK to retire some if its oldest tanks, placing them in reserve.

    To: China

The SAK would be delighted to discuss with our Chinese Allies how to improve the working and living conditions of both our peoples via industrialization.

    Headlines in Der Spiegel:

German forces seize remainder of Sweden, monarchy restored:
After the last areas of Swedish land were brought under German control, the German government kept its promise to restore the Swedish monarchy. In Stockholm, the Swedish king was restored to the throne and his family once again took up residence in the Royal Palace. For the time being, Sweden is to remain a German military protectorate, though the Germans will not interfere in the Swedish government. (OOC: This is not propaganda, it is what I planned to do to Sweden all along.) The Kaiser continues to be seen in public with Victoria, the Swedish crown princess. Rumors of a possible royal marriage have been denied by the office of the Reichschancellor. The Swedish monarchy has always been popular among the Swedish people. The previously existing three way struggle in Sweden of Swedes against both German and Scandinavian Socialists has ended. The pro-socialists and their partisan supporters have fled to northern Norway to escape the Germans and the monarchists. With the restoration of Swedish independence, partisan fighting in Sweden has ended.

Germans conclude full bilateral alliance with Soviet Russia in diplomatic coup:
In a shocking development, the German Foreign Office announced that it has concluded a full bilateral alliance with Soviet Russia. This action assures both sides that there will be no future conflict between Russia and Germany, and it guarantees a bright future of cooperation and joint operations.

-Baltic and Polish riots end without bloodshed as Scandinavian war is all but over.
-Partisan strongpoints remain in Northern Norway.
-German northward advance has halted after taking Tromso.
    -Bergen falls after extended siege.
-General Staff withdraws Panzer divisions and most fighter and bomber squadrons from Scandinavia, one reserve panzer division remains.
-Military to remain mobilized, in case situation changes in Scandinavia.
-Several special anti-partisan units are being deployed to Norway to crush fierce resistance in the Northern mountains.
    -Svalbard resistance ends.
-Fuel rationing continues, despite growing fuel surplus.
-German government to create large fuel stockpiles.
-Last Scandinavian fleet units seized at Tromso.

Stuff that would not appear in a newspaper (and that you do not know about):
-Six German modified and advanced Los-Angeles-class attack submarines continue to their unknown destinations.
-German technicians and engineers sent to help China and the CW with Seawolf program.
    -German diplomats sent to London.
-German forces remain mobilized, though large and strangely erratic rail traffic have disguised troop movements.

    Dispatches from the Foreign Office:
    To Chile:
Thank you for your actions allowing us to sail past Cape Horn.
    To Brazil:
A pleasure doing business with you, as always. Please buy again soon.
    To Britain:
We await confirmation of our offer.
    To Russia:
We are interested in paying to have several of your new submarines built for us. We also are interested in buying several Oscar submarines as well.

OOC: Scott, am I really that nervous? Geez...I gotta lighten up then

Polaris, I don't have to get nervous, I've had F-15s/F-16s in production since almost the beginning of this thread from Taiwan and have M1K1 (the Korean designation for the M1A2) in production for a while too, so I'd outnumber you on those tanks. And our borders are demilitarized anyway right?

The Chinese Empire invites SAK delegates to meet in Beijing to discuss plans for industrializing the region. This is another step towards making SAK into a first-world power.

Along with the troops and Quebecsois 5 F-22 which were forced to land by the NSW are also pulling out of Quebec...and the NSW has announced work on a new air superiority fighter, very similar to the F-22. (You don't know that last part.)

The NSW is suing the CW for peace, stating they just wish to finish evaquation of their soldiers and French Quebecsois.

Today in south africa totals have been tallied for all illegal assests seized. In liquidized state their was a count of over 15 billion dollars. Other assets are still being counted. Also the newly expanded navy army and airforce has begun intense training of the new personel. However their is a problem. We lack much of the equipment nessary to fully arm our forces.
TO WORLD: For now New South Africa has remined netural in all wars. However that may change. We are in need of strong equipment to arm our forces. IN exchage we could pay you over time and let you establish some bases in our land. We are in a very important spot as shiping must either pass trough the Suez cannal or us to get around africa. Having a base or too here could mean you could either cut off shiping or still trade if you were cut off some where else.

Greater India Recieves Production Rights Over the Leopard II Tank!

Germany and India, who have been great allies for a couple months now, have secured a massive deal involving $9 billion of the recently built up military treasury of Greater India. Now Greater India holds all production rights to the Leopard II. It may not be revised.

Greater India is using most of its tank factories to now build 2,000 Leopard II main battle tanks. The monthly production is still unknown to the public, but Bharat and the Military Treasurer assure the citizens of Greater India that the deal did not affect the other treasury offices.

OOC: Mao, do not be nervous, please. Scott told me that you are afraid I will go against you. It just won't happen, ok? You have nothing to worry about, for we are great allies in Asia along with the rest of the EADG...just don't be nervous as Scott tells me you get. The Leopard IIs will NOT be used against ANY of our allies.
