  • city names?

Which file contains the default city names for the different civs? I would like to edit the defaults so that when my computer controlled civs build new cities the new cities will have appropriate names.

    CITY.TXT
An easy way to fiddle with that file is to use "CIV2TRIBES" by Nylz available in the database.

          Which version do you use?
In case versions higher than CiC: Find the City.txt file in the main directory. Open it, and just edit, save it in the folder in which you plan to put the scenario. In case you use the first version, do the same but save the file using a different name.
