  • Maps!

Well, I need a map showing just the Caucasus Mountain region, a tiny bit of southern Russia (Kuban area), and some of northern Turkey/Persia and black sea coast.

This is the ideal map, but i anyone finds anything like it, I would be much obliged.

    Thanks all,

    Grigori

P.S. If any of you know my site, I want to move it to a different supplier...Does anyone know a place where I can upload pics without them getting distorted? Tripod and geocities suck at uploading graphics, so those are out immediately.

I don't know about Tripod but Geocities is awesome. I also have one with http://www.50megs.com and they are pretty good too.

TGrigori: Haven't you looked through the extensive collection in ACS: http://apolyton.net/civ2/ under download/maps ?

CornMaster: Trying out your suggested 50megs supplier. Registrering a bit messy but seems to work. Is the speed of access and uploading acceptable?

Go here for a very large map database: http://www.sidgames.com/hosted/civ2/...maps/index.cfm

Thanks to you guys that contributed. I might actually use one map that I found in the map collection, but I still need one for the Caucasus. I'll try to make one. Thanks to all again.

You can probably get what you're looking for with a map of the Caucasus from Harlan Thompson's European bitmap and one of the bitmap to map converters. I just posted some links in the "I'm looking for a map and a special unit!" topic.
