    • I like 1 best, FMK.

One thing, though.... the SU76 used in WW2 had an open gun compartment, hence the Soviet nickname of 'the *****', as it was so cold in winter. Maybe it was fitted with a closed compartment after the War?

        • FMK, Fairline: those are good! I made a Crusader before, but now I realize it looks more like the Cruiser Mk IV instead.

Actually I have seen pictures of both open and closed. Though maybe the closed is for postwar only? The pics I used as a reference are from www.jagdtiger.de and I think since they are museum shots, they have the cover on. I'll see about opening it up a bit.

Also, not only did they call it Suka or 'b1tch', but they too refered to it as 'Golozhopji Ferdinant', or "Naked Ass Ferdinand"

            -FMK.

Edit: Made a first attempt at the open top version and uploaded it above. Any comments?

                  • Indeed. There are those legions of old men on bicycles that the British expected.

                    • What? Those are only Allied units. The old men on bicycles are elsewhere.

                      • It was a reference to the Dutch peasants, but whatever.

If not, it's a reference to the fact that there were no old men on bicycles.
