    2.7.81, yes.

The last bit ...? I'm afraid I don't understand, please clarify...

So how are you going to deal with the fact that if the guerillas ever took control that the U.S. would show up in a very big way?

@DarthVeda: I'm not taking that into account - I reached the conclusion that
          1. The Americans didn't show up immediately and very forcefully in Cuba, American intervention is excluded in this scenario. I don't think the Americans would engage in an open full-scale jungle war against guerillas in Colombia. There is American activity, not intervention.
          2. It would simply be too difficult to do, manage, take up too much events space.

@yaroslav: Yes, I've been complaining a lot about that too, and I've taken it into account this time: there will exclusively be single objective cities (possible more with wonders, but no "Major objective cities").

I hereby declare the scenario 99% finished! I only need a little final playtesting (by myself) to test if the changes I made after the other playtests are working...

I might just add that there is a fourth events file series. US Radar Posts and IRA/ETA assistance for FARC has been added!

If either of you guys are interested, the order of battle of the Columbian Army circa 2000 is available at: http://www.tbns.net/ijrikhye/oob/sit.../army2000.html (there's a 2001 update at www.orbat.com but you have to pay for it).

BTW, are you including the possibility of US intervention? According to orbat.com a US National Guard air mobile brigade has recently been mobalised following rummors that such a force would be sent to Columbia...

Yeah, I've looked at the BoB, but as you might have noticed, the scenario begins in 1974...

                  About Am. intervention:

                  - Besides, it ends in 2002 and the possibility of US intervention is only heating up now...

                          Sure!

I uploaded the scenario to Civfanatics and am now waiting for Thunderfall to publish it. When he has done that - it will be published on Apolyton too.
