  • Here I'm again!!

Remember me and my Imperialism scen?

Well I made fine progress these weeks but my inability of drawing and working with pictures striked again. So sorry for bothering again but I've (hopefully) one final request for you scenario creators out there. As I said one time I'm doing an Imperialism scen dedicated to Africa, Asia and especially a spotlight on Europe.

So to the point of my request: I've attached the flag of Slovakia. In this area they struggled to get an independent state from Austria-Hungary but also participated in various wars together with the Austrians. So I intend to represent this ethnic group with a unit for their own. The problem is a found a suitable shield but was unable to resize it so I can put it in use for a unit shield. Therefore I ask you if someone could cut the shield out of the flag and convert it so it is usable as a unitshield? I hope somebody can help me.

    thx in advance

Well just for your identification Heresson:

During the First World War Slovakians fought alongside the Austrians but the majority deserted and joined the Russians in their quest to get independent. Later in the war they even formed an independent Slovakian army in Paris with their own commanders. So I think they are important enough for being mentioned.

Yeah, the mighty Slovak, Romanian, and Serbian armies began their magnanimous wars of liberation/independence/conquest... after the Hungarian army surrendered to the promise of Wilson's self-determination.

I have no bad feelings about Slovakians, their language except fot Byelorussian is the closest of alt to Polish,
but their army... their independance.. How many men consisted of their army? 15?
One time I'll agree (partaially) with the Magyear monster above. Creation of Slovakia in borders that it has was
not quite right for Hungarians. Slovakia has no historical borders, so I see no reason why south of what today is Slovakia was given to it. As well as the case of Spisz, Orawa and Czadca (not minding Zaolzie) was very very unfair for Poles. I see Bohemians as the ones to balme here, as Slovakians themselves wouldn't be able to do anything.

                          Hmm...
                          /me dusts off his memory
If I remember my stereotypes correctly, a half-Pole/half-Armenian could become even cheaper by converting to Judaism.
                          That's about enough of this.

I know of a Czech legion, but a Slovakian one?

If it is the same, then the laughs are ill-advised, this legion was indeed tough, in fact, after the great war, they, 20,000 strong, seized portions of the Russian raillines during the civil war there, even at one time getting thier hands on the White Russian's treasury.

                              StLeo,
                              there is a Polish proverb that says;
A Jew can mislead (cheat out or whatever) 5 Poles,
but Armenian can mislead 5 Jews.
Oh, and I'm o more than a quater Armenian.
