Hmm... Can I write the Official Strategy Guide?

I just got Siege Towers.... and I'm beating the AI senseless. I finally captured to cities of Massila and Syracuse (after 200+ year sieges!) In Iberia, Gades is about to fall, and I am also plotting an invasion of Greece....

BTW, I just did the second events change. I didn't get much time to playtest during the weekdays with schoolwork et al, so now, I think I'm going to try to finish this scenario....

    More to come later.

Prometeus, you can send the map to me, I´d like to help you, the only thing I have to say is that I´m not sure that I can open your map, because I´ve only FW, not MGE like you (or?). But perhaps the mapeditor is exactly the same for both versions, so we should simply try it out...

See the good side, you can relax a bit more...

Have you ever tried to draw cities in an isometric style?

Erwan, Nemo, and a couple other people use and isometric style, so it's not a new idea.

Ok, I finished the events for the Phoenicians today, the events for the Macedonians still need some work...

Both civs have three events files, not four, as the Romans. The reason for this is simple: because of the destruction of Carthage and the Roman conquest of the Hellas there are no special historic events for both civs after 146BC, so after that time a game as Macedonians/Phoenicians will be very unhistoric, but still a lot of fun, I think...

So, Macedonia and Carthage will face heavy Roman attacks during the period of the second events file.

Ok, who´s interested to play the Phonicians or will someone again test the improved Roman version?
I ask this to make sure that not every tester plays the same civ, so please post your opinion or drop me a mail ). Thanks

                        Thanks guys!

Shadowstrike, I´ll send the update tomorrow, currently I test the scn a bit to make some "finetuning"

Hendrik, the Phoenicians are now only playable in the English version, but I´ll retranslate their events into German over the week, so that both versions are on the same level...

OK, I've played the new version as the Romans to 349 BC, and I've benn very lucky. I managed to get Capua without losing a single unit out of my 7 vet basic legions. The Pheonecians no longer dash themselves against the walls of Rome. I control everything from Kroton to Ravenna, with the exception of Tarent.

Minor nitpicking: I think you should capitalze "Army reform of Marius" and write it as "Army Reform of Marius". IMHO, it makes it look more professional. On its Civilopedia entry, I believe that your refering to "Marius' mules" a nickname for the legionaaires due to ther heavy sacks.

For some wierd reason, I was able to talk to the Greeks. You might want to check this out.
