BTW, when you shows us your emppire, why don't you take a screenshot in the game, instead of paiting a map yourself?

I think it's F11 you use then, but I'm not completely sure, since I've not done it myself.

Just press the print screen button next to F12 while you play the game(no need to pause or anything).

Then when you exit the game(not nesseserily immediately), create a bmp file at your desktop. Open it and select "Paste". The "printed" screenshot will be pasted in your bmp file.

If i remember correctly your MS Paint does not work properly. I don't know if it works with any other painting programs.

Uhmm I exited EUII today and as a result DirectX was disabled until reboot?
Did anyone experience this before?

It happends from time to time. Very rare on later patches for me though... Can't remember last time.

my Problem was that i had a Big D/L going on w/O any D/LTool..
so I couldn't stop it and had to search my HD for some non-directX games.. played 2 Hours of BattleChess *g*
