1) Japanese were beaten by the Red Army in 1939.
2) What do you think all those Soviet divisions were doing at Far East military district throughout WW2? Soviet were ready for war at two fronts from the beggining. They thought Japan will join Germany in that war.

How does the game pause system work in MP?

picked up a copy of DD in Poland for about £8, and managed to find the setting to turn it into english. Im rather confused by my Polish manual, but the good news is I have a spare DD manual in polish if anyone wants it

It automatically paused for 45 seconds when you first start the game so everyone can set tech teams and builds and after that anyone can pause or unpause the game per normal. The annoying thing is you might pause it and some ******* can unpause it right after the agreed upon bathroom break.

That's one of the reasons it is hard to find an MP game. Most people only want to play with people they know who are reliable, who won't just leave the game when they start losing, and who won't cheat.

Theres a small movement towards an mp game, interested so far are myself, JM, and ecthy and dauphin I presume.

I dont know much about hoi2 but i suspect we need 8 players to make it balanced (as in no-one gets an easy ride because their enemy is an AI)
