A little late but I have conquered most of Russia with China. I even raced to Moscow and just barely took it before German forces did. Unfortunately one of the scripts fired and gave Russia back and I didn't want to go back and fix things.

I was able to kick Japan out of Korea early and take Indonesia as well. I went through Afghanistan to get to the Baku oil fields. Russia declared war on me sometime in there. I think when I invaded Afghanistan. Some harsh mountain fighting there but finally pushed Russia back only to have tanks roll me on the steppe. But I kept throwing troops there (which you have tons of) and eventually pushed to Moscow as Germany was coming.

I don't know how I would invade Japan since your navy is so worthless.

This was 1.02 so it might be harder with the increased partisans.

Serb is just mad because he doesn't want to admit that the USSR was on its last leg and a second invasion would have finished them off. In that game the Chinese beat the Japanese and then decided to invade the USSR. I doubt the Russians could have fought the Germans and the Chinese at the same time so it seems reasonable.

BTW I just got a PM from VJ and I want to play though Saturdays are not ideal. That's prime salsa dancing time. Weds might be better. FYI, I'll play either way but if the choice is between going on a date with a hottie or playing a video game then the video game will lose.

It can be done. You're navy will royally suck compared to the Japanese Navy but all you need to do is stay alive long enough to land the Chinese hordes.Station them in Korea and transport as many troops over as quickly as possible and you should be great. You can destroy most of the Japanese army in China so the Japanese land forces will be weak. As long as you can hold the straights for a few days then you'll be fine.

It's much like a Sealion but with even more risk due to the Chinese Navy being far behind the Japanese Navy.

That was an old post by me. By now I've built huge world empires as Nationalist China. Conquering Argentina and all, depending on if they join the Axis or not. India, too

The USSR came very close to getting defeated and if there was a second large scale invasion, like from Japan into Siberia and central Asia, then it likely would have been defeated.
