I loved EU2 and played it for years so EU3 is a big disappointment for me. I'm not sure why but I quickly get bored with it.

Has anyone tried any of the mods yet? I'm hoping someone has found a way to fix the broken war/peace AI.

The broken peace/war AI will be fixed in 1.3, which are due to June. I do recommend to play with one of the mods, preferably either ComboMod or MM, as they improve the game considerably.

BTW, Magna Mundi is the best of them, and add quite a bit goodies, but it demands more of your computer because of that. Anothger good mod is one made by dharper that improves religion in Europe by massive amounts. It's included in both mods mentioned above, but it can also be used alone.

where is that upadate button in the launcher? I can't see it. Please send me this update.

To update, open the launcher. Click on check for updates in the lower left corner. Download.

what's the launcher? Should I star the game? If so, the options on the left are blank and I can't click them.

Registering is free. And you still can get it through the launcher. It's the little window you get when you click on the EU3 icon on the desktop. From there you can check for updates, launch the game and choose which mod to play(after installing patch 1.1 or higher.

BTW, next patch is scheduled for release early June. Us CE owners got a sneak peek at the change log today.

Ok, so is the reputation supposed to be capped?

I annexed Austria and I went from 10 rep to 70 rep and my other vassals immediately declared war on me Then other countries declared war on me. Now my reputation is 120 and I share a land border with Novgorod (though i don't own everything between)

I wish there was a way to tell your allies you didn't need them in a war... I mean France-Austria vs. 1 province Bourbonnais... I've lost several of my largest allies because they tired of the constant declarations of war.
