No.You still have to journey back to your hideout to save.In VC you start out at a beachfront hotel for a base.Oceanview is the name.

Man there ALOT of cops around in VC.There is an immigration officer guy that patrols on foot and they seem to be everywhere. You don't just commit a crime now.You best have a look around first. The only thing that matters to me in a MP game is getting a good ally.Nothing else is as important.......Xin Yu

I've just read on some other forum, that Sony paid rockstar games tons of money, to make them stop making a pc version...does anyone know more about this?

Though I also found this site: http://gamespot.com/gamespot/filters...561641,00.html

Were they say, it will be released to the pc...who's right? and who's wrong? This space is empty... or is it?

Actually they paid for exclusiveness. This game will not show up on any other consoles. There will be a PC version. If history is the guide then something like 3-4 months from now.The only thing that matters to me in a MP game is getting a good ally.Nothing else is as important.......Xin Yu

I agree 100%. If you could save the game anywhere during a mission it would be a bit too easy.Originally posted by ixnay37
Personally I like the save system they have in place for the games as it is now. Being able to save at any time would make it that much easier and, in my opinion, not as fun.

Anyway, to each his own...If I'm posting here then Counterglow must be down.

Good thing is as you accumulate cash, you can buy condos, apartments.mansions etc...all over the city.So you won't be that far from a hideout.Getting the cash takes awhile though. One of my most profitable ventures is to go to Little Havana or whatever and just park.Soon you see gang wars in the streets.Just cruz up and grab all the weapons and cash left by the deceased

 The helicopters are very cool

The water is beautiful but I am having some problems controlling boats The only thing that matters to me in a MP game is getting a good ally.Nothing else is as important.......Xin Yu The only thing that matters to me in a MP game is getting a good ally.Nothing else is as important.......Xin Yu

Yeah, in a game like this, the save system, should be something like this... I never got into the missions in GTA1 and GTA2, since I back then, didn't want to be bothered with saving, but now I have found the point in the save system, so I like it very muchOriginally posted by ixnay37

Once you can afford to buy other places, yes.I have just 2 residences now but I will always save in the one that is closest to my choice of next mission for example. The city is huge.Having to go to 1 hideout location would very time consuming.Does this mean, you (more or less) choose were to live?

Tommy Vercetti's comments are quite funny. The story line and cut scenes are quite well done. The only thing that matters to me in a MP game is getting a good ally.Nothing else is as important.......Xin Yu
