That's what I was planing on, even though I wouldn't mind playing on a PvP server at all. The only reason that I even considered playing this game was because it was designed for PvP. (The pvp in EQ and AC was absoultely horrible, because the games where designed without it, and only had a couple servers each where it was even possible)

Hehe. Knowing the lay of the land would be good for PvP though. It's a bit hard to explore when you are getting killed by high level people. Much easier to know what your escape routes are if you see something big comming"The purpose of studying economics is not to acquire a set of ready-made answers to economic questions, but to learn how to avoid being deceived by economists."

Plight&Pray?
I believe by aggro management, he is reffering to the art of not being suddenly attacked by every monster in the area. i.e. two abysmals are slaughtering the group behind you, and you are the highest level person in your group by far, and you're a level 39 ranger, you don't decide to help the group behind you. It's much better to cower in a corner and resurrect them than to all lie there dead because you tried to take on level 50 mobs."The purpose of studying economics is not to acquire a set of ready-made answers to economic questions, but to learn how to avoid being deceived by economists."

Ah that too. Yes, that is a small problem for me some times. I do a bit too much damage when our tanks suck. I spend most of my time soloing so I didn't really have to worry about aggro management."The purpose of studying economics is not to acquire a set of ready-made answers to economic questions, but to learn how to avoid being deceived by economists."

Umm... you will be horribly slaughtered, but if you want you can take a look at the frontier and the action (I sure did). North, follow the road past Ardee and Basar until you come to Druim Ligen. The frontier awaits beyond. Remind me to give you some money if you ever make it up to Dun Crimmthain and if I ever stop playing on Mordred for so much/"The purpose of studying economics is not to acquire a set of ready-made answers to economic questions, but to learn how to avoid being deceived by economists."

Yeah, I figured that out... but what is a reasonable level to start realm vs. realm fighting? Judging by the monster levels, level 20 seems to be the minimum that you can go into the frontiers with any reasonable amount of safety.
Speaking of which, I'm level 20 now and in all the time that I played EQ, I had never gotten a character past level 17.
You also play on Mordred? I've got a level 6 friar named Benwyn on that server... though I don't play him very often.Rethink Refuse Reduce Reuse

I wish I could play more, but my mom isn't very happy because she pays the phone bill. One week from now, I will get to college, then the hardcore playing begins
I think 40 is a reasonable level for RvR, but at 20-24, you should go to your portal keep and port into the battleground. That place has a single central keep, and is limited to 20-24 people, so it can be fun early on. There's also 25-29 and 30-35 battlegrounds, but they're usually not as full."The purpose of studying economics is not to acquire a set of ready-made answers to economic questions, but to learn how to avoid being deceived by economists."
