  • Stinging like a bee and dancing like a butterfly...

"And now, the moment you have all been waiting for..."

The challenger, Carolus Rex, throwing the gauntlet at the feet of the champ! What an insult, what a nerve! The challenger actually picks black!?

Inspector Dirty Rex: "So you have to ask yourself, 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do you, champ? Go ahead, champ! Make your move (and my day)!"

      What an insult
Black is beautiful and black can win
I even happen to have won some games with black
Most seriously, I think playing black is as good as playing white except that the 1st player can choose more easily an opening to his liking

        And of course good luck
In the last encounter you were pretty close with your kingside attack
I'm looking forward to see your opening choice

            LOL!

True, that's why I chose black. Figured it was time for a white win...

BTW, I'm in Geneva for the moment (and have been since September), so I don't have my chess board with me. I will have to buy one really soon, but the first couple of moves should be fine.

Smash, ours butterflies float, but having lived over in that area for a few years I can assure you that those in Northern Europe and Scandinavia Dance. They're closer to the Pole so gravity is a bit stronger.

I was thinking of Cassius Clay's own description of his boxing. The Swedish translation is "dance like a butterfly", I thought "float" was something boats did?
