i have hit the 600acrepoint.......but i guess i am landfat...not quite sure..

my buildings are all within your ranges..almost on a tee....i switched barracks for hospitals though....
i am thinking i should have gone with more armouries than the strat suggested......
i only have 200 thieves and about 250 wizzies.......
my thieves die at an astonishing rate sometimes......
our kd is still a ghetto but we have a guy who defected who is larger than i now......which is good.....
we are going to war today with a dragon and against the kd (48 48) whom we have been at war with for almost 3/4 of a year.....
we are now about 100k networth bigger, since that new guy defected to us...so in reality without him we would be 3% larger only....so should be some good battles...
my science pump is down as well..... pretty close to what you suggested....other than def ...what should i be doing ...

The term "landfat" is related to your Networth/Acre-ratio, usually 130-160 gc per acre is good enough to not make you look landfat, and the Science pump should make you look less landfat as well.

Not bad, this gives you ~46 dpa, if you cast Minor Protection, it will be ~50 dpa.
I suggest you convert the att specs back to soldiers (through the Release Forces-link) and train 1200 def specs and 800 Elf Lords out of them.

That was a relative consideration, Elf elites only cost 1,200 gc, which is already 20% cheaper than the elites of other races (except Halflings), so with fewer Armories you get pretty much the same cost saving. Besides, when training def specs, Banks are more effective, also because Elf specs are 20% cheaper.

Not bad, just primarily pump into your military, what you have left you can convert to Thieves.

Well, I already pointed out the conversion of the att specs. Converting the 2000 soldiers back to soldiers will raise your dpa as well.
You still have your Armories, so this should be your first priority.
Again, this was a relative consideration:
No Armories here, because this strat maxes out the hospitals, resulting in 80% fewer losses in combat, so you'll have to retrain fewer forces.
Furthermore, maxing out Barracks means attack time is halved. This will give you the opportunity to suicide, because if someone then retals on you, you'll be back fast enough to bash back again
And the 10% Watchtowers compensate well for your low tpa, because it gives you 40% chance of catching enemy Thieves.
But feel free to experiment with the numbers and good luck with the war

Forgot to mention the Military training aspect:
You should have at least 9 def specs per acre (36 dpa permanent standing at home) and you should work towards 6,000-8,000 Elf Lords (@1,000 acres). Keep casting Minor Protection and you'll have adequate defense, but more importantly, tremendous fire power
Furthermore, try to get 1 tpa @ 1,000 acres, it's not a real priority, but always nice to have

I lost 33 acres when someone two times bigger than me decided to attack. But I reached the 500 acres mark(well, in two hours ).
