    Since I played Black last time I'll play White for this one. And I'll try to keep the typos in the moves to a bare minimum.

                          Julius,

                          It was less study and more that we have both stated a preference for the French on a Kingside opening. Since I seldom open Kingside anymore and so don't play against the French as much as I did, I'll have to dredge up old memories from 30 years ago when I played several games/day.
