I have a general question, and if allowed, I want to change my move.

Can I manuver and still turn in the same (turn) without using a wildcard?

For instance, I wish to go lr around somebody, but still end up turning right afterwards.

Is this to be allowed, that is, as long as the combination of lr result in only one l or r (with l cancelling r), then no WC??
We're sorry, the voices in my head are not available at this time. Please try back again soon.

No, this will use a WC. To counter this though, unless you go off the track, crashes only occur at the end of each round. I don't want to be in the position of having to track people's movement simultaneously. So for all intents and purposes, you can drive through other cars, provided you don't land on the same square as they do.

Yes, any other way and it would be too much work. I originally thought I would do it that way, and quickly realized how impractical it would be.

The racers are (car #, name, speed, heading, WC, orders):
              1. alva,	1, E, 5,	a(m)
              2. Rah, 9, E, 1,	b(m1)L(m2)L(wc)(m4)
              3. gjramsey,	5, S, 4,	r(m4)(r+1)(m4)*
              4. Spaced,	9, SE, 3,	br(7m)l
              5. Jonny,	5, s, 5,	a(m2)r(m3)r(wc)(m5)*
              6. Jamski,	9, S, 4,	br(m)r(wc)(m6)
Bessy Sue in car 6 was heard to exclaim "Well golly darn dangit!" and forced him to slam on his brakes as Jonny and gjramsey collided and spun in front of his car. (I rolled 11 on my d20, so car 5 got the spot infront). The two leaders look to be trying different tactics to get the clear lead, the evil shortcut or the evil corner of death.
Who shall prevail? Who (else) shall crash and burn? Find out in Round 7.

If you go off the track, does your direction become one that you can continue driving?

No, if it is deemed accidental. Its not like the track moves...

And yes, your direction changes to one that isn't going to send you off the track again the next turn. Alva was heading SE before, for example.

                      Rule Formalisation
                      Collisions with another player:
A roll of the dice will determine who gets the square at the front of the collision site. Others involved in the collision will be placed as I see fit. Direction does not change, speed is halved. If the collision is deemed deliberate, speed is cut to 0 and may or may not cost a turn as well.

                      Crashing off the track:
The car is set back on the track near where they went off the track, direction changed to one that will not have the player crashing off the track again the next turn. Speed is cut to 0. If the crash occurs during the first 5 moves of a players turn, it is deemed a serious crash and will cost the player one turn as well, otherwise they are free to continue racing the next turn. Wildcards used in a players orders before the crash are gone, wildcard orders that would have occured had the car not gone off the track are not used up.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

Going to go off the road in one of the next few turns, I guess I should check to see which hurts the least.
                          Damn, my early mistakes.
