Has anyone seen this brand new game? The game is just called .kkrieger and only exists in a beta version for now, but you can download the beta for free at mentioned site...

The recently released fps games is released on DVD or 6 CD's, while this one only takes 96 kb

Sure, it doesn't have many maps and doesn't have movies and such, but compared to the size of it, it's already got enough

It does require one hell of a computer though...
This space is empty... or is it?

Surely it's a joke or a mistake. 96Kb sounds impossible.

Have you seen those small 56 kb movies? They're also amazing, and from the same creators as far as I know...

It doesn't need any textures or music, which are usually on the CD of your average fps. It creates all these from simple code on the spot as you play, that's why the system requirements are so high. It's a clever little system, and could be used to reduce the amount of needed diskspace in games somewhat, but with people having relatively huge harddrives these days, size conservation isn't as important as pushing the sys reqs as low as possible. An average joe will have a 40 gig drive but not a GeForce 5950.
Cake and grief counseling will be available at the conclusion of the test. Thank you for helping us help you help us all!

Ah I see, that makes sense. Personally I prefer game installs to be as big as possible to avoid using the cd. Most people have hard drive space as you say.

Even though it's not needed, I'm impressed on how they made this...

The first game mentioned is very unstable though and sometimes quite hard to get of. Just so you know.
