ergh, on my computer that tube demo looks like a tube of huge pixels

The game was slightly better, but my gfx card still had trouble with it. Quit playing when I got stuck again in a door

while impressive the last one of these i tried took quite a while to precalc everything. i'd rather just have to install 1gig once than wait a few minutes or more everytime i'd want to play.

Surely it's a joke or a mistake. 96Kb sounds impossible.
Again with my friend Derek, but he has a beta of some sort of FPS, it don't think it's .kkreiger, its something different, but he did something, to where he can fit it all on a floppy, and still have space for like four more copies. I htink he did something with making itall raw code.

Doesnt this story make you think; what would the games look like today if someone in the 90's decided to actualy optimize their code instead of relying on faster and faster machines?

The difference between the first games on a C64 or ZX Spectrum and the latter games was incredible.... with the machines staying absolutely same.

That's what happens on consoles too and that's is why they are relatively better.
Not that I'm a fan of them mind you.
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?

Consoles evolve too... but yes, the last games made to the PS1 was (I suppose) better than the first games made for it...
This space is empty... or is it?

I quit playing the tube demo when I got stuck in a door. I'd nearly killed the end of level busker, but got caught by a sudden rush of office workers at Monument.
