If you like Halo - have a look at Judge Dredd vs Judge Death, only if you can find it cheap as its not in Halo's league. But if you like the atmosphere of the comics, it has some fun momments

I meant to ask about that one. Do you get to go around Judging people or is it just a straightforward shooter where perps are hostile from the start and you execute them all rather than arresting any?

Well its a weird one - i picked it up for xbox from my local Game store(£19.99), but i couldn't find a 'release' review of it anywhere - that was about a month ago.

And yeah you get to judge people - i like putting smokers away for 10years Its good for all that kinda thing - if you liked the comics it does a good job for the most part.

As an FPS game its probably not the best, but for me the Dredd theme makes up for it. Its quite quick to finish(took me about 15hrs) but if you ever wanted to feel like Dredd in a game this is the best by a long way

I might give it a quick blast this eve - and put a few juves in the iso-cubes

check on Gamespot for info on a pc release - as it was planned(or might be out)

I'd really like to see them come out with another version of "Lemmings". That game was awesome! I used to play it for hours.

              i'm eagerly awaiting thief 3
haven't heard of it for a long time though, and it'll probably be released months earlier on the crappy consoles

naturally Rome: Total War is also something to look out for.

The screenshots and gameplay description make it sound like a Splinter Cell with mideval graphics. Are there any similarities between SC and the older Theif games?

SC isn't bad actually. There are similarities, since both are sneak-em-ups.

One of the lead programmers left btw, he was in dispute with the designers or something.
Luckely the game is more or less finished.

Well, I asked because so many of the weapons are the same- just less believeable. (e.x.: flashbomb, mine, eye, fire arrow, noisemaker arrow).

A friend of mine is a programmer on the project, too. He told me about that, but he said things were still going along nicely... I have no way to actually verify that, of course

A couple of links for info on the Judge Dredd game.

Game - the place i bought it from.

I still cant believe it was a new realease on xbox for £19.99? thats a second hand price......still maybe its because its not exactly a real tough FPS?

I think if i'd paid £40 for it i might have been a bit miffed, still most of the xbox games make me feel that way when i pay £40 for them

new GTA and thief 3, love thief games

would dearly love to see a new eilte game (elite 4 i suppose it would be now), just re-releasing frontier with modern graphics would be great though
