Speaking of which, I don't have much respect for sports games. I can understand that others might enjoy them, but they don't really entertain me.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

We're sorry, the voices in my head are not available at this time. Please try back again soon.

There seems to be at least a rudimentary amount of strategy in those games, as opposed to a pure spamfest. The signal-to-noise ratio is still pretty low, but I guess aspiring Deities have to have somewhere to do their "discussions".

i am so happy you posted this and not me. I no longer post about that game, since i have been told i post too much about games i havent played.

There are few PC games that i own or have played to any degree that i really disrespect. I dont buy it unless i think i have reason to like it.

I own Myst. Its certainly not a favorite, and it was a tad boring, but I suppose one could enjoy its puzzles. I might have been more willing to perservere with them if the interface made it easier to record and sort clues in game - having to do it Pencil and paper on the side is a bit of a deterrent. I havent played any other recent adventures (IE other than text adventures) so i really cant say.

Id say the game ive played I like least was C&C:Tiberian Sun ( I think thats what it was) The story, gameplay, etc was unimpressive. It seemed all of what the stereotype of a bad RTS is. I played the demo, and had no desire to get the game. OTOH ive enjoyed Age of Empires.

mario sunshine, it's not even a quarter as good as mario 64(and yes n64 does have some good games!). other nintendo games i have little respect for metroid prime(boring), pikmin(first, wtf?!, second this game took me less than a day to beat and i never wanted to play again), and lastly wind waker(sailing isn't fun).

*as a caveat i do respect some of the above game's graphics but graphics don't matter, only gameplay does, so therefore i don't respect them, understood?

As the sequel of a PC game, doesn't count as a console port.

That's a dumb distinction . It was released first on a console and then later put on the PC. It's a PORT, pure and simple.

What's the difference between Duke Nukem 3D and GTA: VC? You like the bankruptcy of moral values in one but not the other?

Why do you guys keep mentioning Myst, I thought the title of the thread was "Popular games you have absolutely zero respect for".

I like DrSpike much betterer, it has more character and its you. Im not graduating in 2005 like I thought I was going to originaly, but that doesnt mean Im going to change my name to Space, SpaceGEDus, or Spaceus. Space05us is me.

edit: changed a word cause it slipped past the bad word filter.

Personally I like Spikie better (read: DrSpike). Doc is just so... generic... DrSpike has character and is unique. Comparatively. Google for DrSpike leads back to Poly on the 4th link, googling for Doc...
