It is rumoured Spikie got very excited when he heard of the upcoming Sims in Space expansion pack.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

I just don't have much free time on Sundays at the moment, so I'll have to pass.

Sunday is a great day for gaming!

Unless you happen to be recovering from the night before, and spend the entire day sleeping rather than being conscious.
Uggh, not going to do that again for a while.

Dr Spike, why do you insist on asking such daft questions? Now get back to Ming double sharpish and get the world put to rights!

            On topic:

I don't like FPS games, or flight sims (except Knights of the Sky! ), I hated Tomb Raider, FIFA, Broken Sword and, most especially, Myst! What the bloody hell is the point of Myst? It is just like watching a slideshow, with no interaction whatsoever.

Some people like slideshows. My dad does, for example.

Bully for him. (Sorry, it seems to be darts pun day today. )
But would he shell out for a Playstation and a £30 game just to be able to indulge his hobby?

At least that way you get to take the photographs you are looking at. Also you get to bore your son and daughter-in-law with these photos.
With Myst, the pictures are all the same no matter how many times you play it. that is, assuming you would want to play it twice.

ALL racing games. All the Tony Hawks (how can you make another game about skateboarding??).

The first THPS game was brilliant, but I agree that they have gone downhill since then. I'm not a sk8ty boy or anything, but the first one was almost a simulation, and the rest have become more and more like computer games, with extra puzzles and fancy things. It is cool when you realise that you can jump over a high wall, or grind up to somewhere you didn't believe you could, but the first game was the most fun. Also the hardest to pull off decent tricks.

There seems to be at least a rudimentary amount of strategy in those games, as opposed to a pure spamfest. The signal-to-noise ratio is still pretty low, but I guess aspiring Deities have to have somewhere to do their "discussions".

The tony Hawks games are some of the most awesome of recent years. They're not really about skateboarding at all, more freeform world-interaction games with a very open structure.
