      Skivvies = filthy underlings I am gracious enough to allow to live off my bounty and to scratch their livings from my estate's fertile soil.

      I'm jealous of people who have clues. I want one! Even though I'm not the mafia, I'm really tempted to make one up. I feel sure I could carry off Jamski's, er, slightly melodramatic style.
