Mafia XIV - Mafia Gothica

Let's make a rule that if the mafia doesn't kill within a certain period of time he is deemed to have committed suicide out of guilt for his earlier actions/planned actions.

In a situation like ours I think the GM should just select a new Mafia, as the second Mafia hasn't done any kills yet, so he has nothing to feel guilty about.

...so if I mix together the colours Carmine and Oxide Yellow, I create a deadly orange coloured poison. Noone will suspect me of being a killer, but will blame the kitchen staff...

28th of March 1854, Apolyton Mansion :
Yet more death today in the castle. The local artist was discovered in his studio, an adapted glasshouse in the grounds. He appears to have committed suicide by drinking his own paint, but my host, the Duke, who knew the painter well, assures me that GhengisFarb would never kill himself. Foul play is expected once more, and the residents of this dark place will once more gather to cast their gruesome lottery. I shall attempt to leave at once, I feel it would be bad for my health to stay a moment longer in this castle.

From the lab notes of Doctor Doc
...realised that Lead Oxide (yellow, made by buring lead) and Carmine (red, made from Haeomoglobin) paint on thier own are not poisonous enough to kill a man. There must have been a third ingredient in the poison, probably some kind of ethanol to ensure a rapid distribution to the brain....

There seems to be a bottle of 1834 Chateau Ste. Basil missing this morning, a very expensive and fine drink indeed. Noone requested this last night, so it was probably stolen.
