Ooh, a devious tactic, usually used when the player has some other suitable combination card up his sleeve. Judging by your previous moves, I see a &-suit in the offing, and I think I shall waylay it with some pairings of my own.

    Bond Street (southern)

Canary wharf (southern), bringing North American solidarity to bear and Finsbury Park again, this time for the sharp right hook.

Notting Hill Gate (District line northwards) and Notting Hill Gate (Central line westwards).

        Showboating!
More entertaining than the boat race, by far!

Well, now that both lines have been united in Notting Hill Gate, it is a unique opportunity for me to go to Lancaster Gate, and reap the benefits from the triple gate rule. Of course, you may say it is not very fair-play of me to pull this trick, but heck, players are supposed to win the game they play, aren't they?

Shocking behaviour from the young Frenchman. If he'd have tried to pull that kind of shenanigans at Colonel Hartingley's Tuesday (MC) Club then he'd have been out on his ear before you could say "that's just not Mornington Crescent". Young people these days, I ask you!

I didn't expect this. But it will not be said that I lack resources: I call Moorgate upon you!

Now Moorgate is more flexible - covering the whole Bank branch with the option of stepping up to spring the offside trap at Farringdon. That did Johnny Rocco proud in the Semi-final at Monacco in '58.

I have to agree that Spiffor did well to come back from his slow start after "homing" Shoreditch.

However, Moorgate allows me the opportunity (under +1) to split the difference and take you all to visit one of my old favourite stations at Elephant and Castle. A green token is mine, to do so as I will with it. Probably just cash them all in to reverse the Beck's coefficient at some point, but the tactical options stretch much further than that.

Ack! Things are too cluttered in Zones 1+2, I'm retreating to Park Royal and sitting out the next turn hoping for a crossover bubble. Frankly the Metropoliton line is too exposed while people are still fletching.

Shepherd's Bush, biotches. My chances for victory are gone (thanks to Spiff's cautious play ), so it's time to engage in some comedy. St. John's Wood may be next...

Things are starting to open out again then, but the duke still has fingers in far too many pies. I think some nisnit channelling is in order to reduce the potential power of those green tokens.
