  • Thats alright, I'm primarily fighter. I just thought magic might be easier because fighting has me struggling.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

    • Not in Mounrhold. It has some kick-ass weapons available, too.

Generally, if you're a wizard in Mounrhold, you're more or less screwed, mainly because the enemies you face over there have very good magic resistance or even the ability to reflect spells.
Tribunal and Bloodmoon are Warrior based. Solver said it best. I should also note that anyone that didn't invest in Acrobatics and Athletics by the time you get to the end of the Tribunal Main Quest you are truely screwed. So what if you're decked out in Daedric Armor and weilding The Tools, if you can't run from that spiked wheel... you better have made a prior save.

Besides, the level you need to be to finish the main quests for those two XPs should high enough that even Mage should by that time invest some time in Combat skills (considering that you most likely finished the Vvardenfell main quest).

I agree. Mark/Recall, Intervention, and Water Walking spells make Vvardenell way to easy to move around. Of course it was best way to get away and do as much as I can before the game crashed. But my therapist has told me to not get into that.

          • I like the Mournhold museum... My records for items is only around 5 or so, though . What items have you guys traded in that aren't on the purchase list?

              • Oops, yeah - Museum. It's one of the buildings in the residential quarter. You can sell certain legendary items for half their value (the ~$100000, 75,000 etc. items you don't know what to do with). They are displayed on nice little podiums.

                • Is this in the vanilla Morrowind, or the expansion?

                  • That must be the Mournhold museum. I haven't seen any other museum, especially one that is scripted to welcome artefacts.

                      ...As I said.

Mournhold is featured in the Tribunal expansion.

Mournhold is, generally, just a bit tougher than Vvardenfell. Just wait until you encounter one of the elite "named" ordinators ...

A jump spell or enchanted item works much better - if you can find one. You only need a few points to be able to jump a very long way. The big problem is that you can't really control it if the effect value is too high.

                        • I just spent 20 minutes going across the continent to find that mudcrab merchant, and he only has 10,000 gold! $#@%@

Where do I go to get rid of 100,000 items? Or do I have to keep them as souvenirs?

                          • You have to pump the mudcrab. Do this by selling him multiple (10+) 10,000 items (IIRC, the ebony club is plentiful and $10,000 a pop). After each low(er) value item, rest for 24 hours to regen his cash. When you have a lot of cash and no items left, buy back all your $10,000 items. This will give Crabby the cash you need to sell high value stuff.

                            • I set the mark? spell right next to mudcrab, so whenever I want to sell stuff to him I just use a recall spell and I am right next to him. I have also dumped all the stuff I want to sell to him there, around 400,000 worth. That'll take a while to get rid of.

I would say: keep them as souvenirs.
