Nope. I really should let you keep guessing, at least until CoT and Buck arrive, but I'll give out another clue now for the hell of it.
Clue 3: Entirely unrepresentative of the gameplay, my abiding memory of this game is of a really disgusting yellowy orange colour that was fairly prevalent in all the good bits.

Yes! It was the unbelievably orange Stunt Car Racer. Praise the Lord that you got it, because the next clue would have been a terrible pun about the cars being Crammond onto the track.
