  • Name the Game - Part 5

    Part 4:

Clue 1 repeated for the current game:

Amiga game, which was a conversion of an earlier Megadrive game. Defeat a tyrant set on world domination.

Small clue: The megadrive game had the same name as the Amiga game.

Not even close. The clues are purposefully vague so far; I'll add something a bit more concrete when some others have had chance to have a speculative guess.

I'll update it when I have time. If anyone else wants to do the dirty work in the meantime I am more than happy.

Man, a new thread already. Too bad the internet connection to Apolyton is rather flaky for me at the moment.

No connection at all in fact
Skeptics should forego any thought of convincing the unconvinced that we hold the torch of truth illuminating the darkness. A more modest, realistic, and achievable goal is to encourage the idea that one may be mistaken. Doubt is humbling and constructive; it leads to rational thought in weighing alternatives and fully reexamining options, and it opens unlimited vistas.

Too bad these games are all before my time.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

Too bad I've never even heard of any of these games.

I thought someone might want to guess first.

Clue 2: It was set in the gulf.

I don't remember the story for this game, but I'll give it a shot anyway:

                          Dessert Strike

                            Wasn't it called Desert Strike?

It was on the Megadrive too FYI.
