Duke I am in the UK. I can recommend you broadband suppliers if you PM me, and you might be surprised at how cheap you can get it these days. If it really isn't an option most of the good ISPs still have a caveman 56k modem service.

but since it's me then that would be daft. I'm hardly the best-known or most prolific poster here, so it's beyond me why anyone would want to log on ripping off my name.
Thanks Doc. I don't really want always on broadband (well I do, but don't want to spend loads of money every month) and having the net readily available at work then I was only thinking of a rubbishy "pay as you go" type affair. I'm not planning on playing with rah rules any time soon.Comment
