When I said series, I meant that it had a couple of sequels, not that it was like the LSL series. More like Monkey Island, in terms of a series.
Totally unlike Monkey Island in terms of play.
No subtlety whatsoever.

Skeptics should forego any thought of convincing the unconvinced that we hold the torch of truth illuminating the darkness. A more modest, realistic, and achievable goal is to encourage the idea that one may be mistaken. Doubt is humbling and constructive; it leads to rational thought in weighing alternatives and fully reexamining options, and it opens unlimited vistas.

Well it had subtlety, there was no shooting, no suit, and we had it already.
Other than that great guess.
i missed that one then....sorry
ok i think i got it now
Captive
(either of them), it had shooting but you definately weren't that suited to it(well i never was), it had suits(wherever that came from?), and it was mostly played on the Amiga i believe.
And its not Monkey Island......
the subtlety i'm a bit lost on - i only played the second one and it seemed quite complex, so i guess subtle.....

Hmm, good punt ADG. I didn't have it on the Amiga, so I didn't think of it. I played it on the PC and it fits well with the clues.
I never played the first 2 Duke Nukem games, so I don't know how old they are... They might not have been there in the Amiga time...
CoT: Hehe the clues have been haphazard, so one of us (not necessarily you ) is confused.
I thought we were told the game had no subtlety (and LotT had it in spades) and that you had to suit up and do some shooting. Again this doesn't fit LotT at all.
Captive, maybe, but I think ADG's guess looks sound.
but i'm 90% certain Duke Nukem was after the Amiga, atleast the clue about it mostly being played on the amiga would rule it out.
The most sophisticated amiga shooter was 'Gloom', unless you go on to use PowerPC chips etc, which doesn't make it a miggy any more in my book....
It was only a 2mb machine(well the 1200) running at around 12.5mhz i think.......not very good at FPS stuff.
