  • Hint 1:
You're going on a journey, through a forrest, and through a landcape of rocks, and other places, fighting all kinds of animals... but look out for the ghosts...

    Hint 2:
On your way to the mad-mans tower, you collect several things, that gives you certain advantages... How 'long' can you get it?

    Hint 3:
There's many different rooms, but still all rooms looks alike, using a certain layout

    Hint 4:
When playing the game, you could "catch a disease" (From many), which caused you to "keep dropping things"

    Hint 5:
The "sequel" didn't have a story line as the first game had. It was mostly based on MP gaming, but not MP gaming as serious as FPS games, but more a "just for some 30 minutes fun" game

    Hint 6:
    Does "grid-layout" ring a bell?
This space is empty... or is it?

    • Ooh! Ooh! I know it!

(This doesn't seem fair, my having so many guesses, but hey)..it has to be....

      James Pond

All right, it probably isn't. Damn! That extra clue threw me off the scent. I don't even know if you could play the sequel with 2 people or not. Oh well, I'll go back into my corner and rack my brains for a puzzle game.

      Er, Bomberman!

[edit] Hmm: ADG doesn't seem to have seen my Bomberman guess so I'm emboldening it! And embiggening it too! [/edit]

            • Er, bomberman was an original game as far as I know, and far predates the Amiga.

I'm assuming the game you're after is the (much younger) Dyna Blaster?

                  • Never heard about Atomic Bomberman or Dyna Blaster?

Atomic Bomberman is about the most 'interesting' short MP games ever... Each round takes about 1 minute, so it's very fast-paced...

The game is all about bombs, where you have to lay bombs in front of your enemy, hoping it'll kill them before they get away... but of course, running around the corner might get you next to another bomb, since in AB you can play up to 10 players

You should really try it out...

                    • I'm not sure if the game shouldn't have gone to duke instead as I would never have got it without him.

Oh well, it's ADG's game so I guess I'll go for it anyway. Knowing duke he'll get more chances anyway.

Right, listen up 'cause this is a strange one.

This was one of the worst games ever released on the C64. It was nevertheless quite memorable.

                              • The German developers of this 1985 title never made another game as far as I know. I'm not surprised, considering the spectacularly ill-chosen subject matter, the utterly **** graphics, the wooden simplicity of the controls and not least the astounding brevity (you can finish off the game in less than five minutes). All in all you struggle to keep up your interest while playing, but it somehow sticks with you neverhteless.
