If modified attack is greater than modified defence, then you score a hit, the level of which is determined by the modified power.

Your weapon modifies your chance to hit and power level;
Your armor modifies their chance to hit you and lowers their power level;
and all others are basic numbers. If Attack+weapon > defense+armor, you hit. Otherwise you miss. A hit scores damage to the person based on the power, minus any armor. Yes?I'm consitently stupid- Japher
