Wizards of the Coast, you so crazy! (Official Darksteel preview)
I don't like Arcbound Silth. It makes the Dervish useless

For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

Eater of Days is a very interesting card. From a flavor point of view he's fantastic. But wouldn't you just hate for your opponent to draw a copy of Shatter in the first turn you skip?

There are two whole new cards today! Memnarch, some of us already knew about, but he has cool art. Strangely, he interacts well with his arch-enemy Glissa.
The other new card is an excellent (though expensive to use) Equipment armament.
Darksteel looks like it's driven on taking the whole modal ability to it's limits. I don't mean the new modular mechanic, more so it's ability to integrate into practically any previously printed magic set flawlessly. Cards like whispersilk cloak will definately be first round draft picks. Unblockable AND can't be a target of spells or abilities, and it's only a common. Mirrodin creatures will still dominate the playing field. White with it's fliers and red with the goblin strikers and spikeshot goblins. But overall, Darksteel looks like it will spice up the drafts with darksteel creatures, and arcbounds that they intentionally kill to put a mass of counters on Triskelion
More news. Fireball is reprinted - and they cleaned up the rules in a major way! You may recall that the Oracle has an X and a Y in its casting cost. Now they've moved back closer to the original wording, saying "As an additional cost, pay 1 for each target beyond the first."
