      • No, both wrong. You have to undestand that the link isn't as obvious as one might think (when you know the answer it is of cource). Next clue.

        3) The stategic conflict is conducted on a global scale between four sides.

Doesn't fit in perfect with the 3rd clue though

But New World Computing´s Nuclear War does have 4 players (well 5 if you include yourself) That would have to be it.
Skeptics should forego any thought of convincing the unconvinced that we hold the torch of truth illuminating the darkness. A more modest, realistic, and achievable goal is to encourage the idea that one may be mistaken. Doubt is humbling and constructive; it leads to rational thought in weighing alternatives and fully reexamining options, and it opens unlimited vistas.

              • Bingo ADG!

What's wrong with the 3rd clue? Wasn't it four sides? Now when you questioned the clue I started to get unsure about it... It was four enemies with you in the middle. Oh well, you got it.

                • I read this:

(...) on a global scale between four sides

as a 4 player game... 4 including yourself... not as a 5 player game, with 4 enemies...

Anyway, next game coming right up...

                          • Hey ADG dont worry it was a complete fluke on my part, I wont be so lucky next time

North and South was a great fun game - one of the few to blend two different playing styles so well.I never did get very good at always getting to the gold on the moving trains. I always thought it was more popular on the PC though?

and i dont even have a game to guess.............just yet. Give me a while to sort one out(and see what hasn't been done yet!)

                            OK GAME:

Platform: Amiga and maybe another? 1990's ish

Clue 1: adventure with a different but distinctive perspective.

                              • I can think of loads of PC adventure games with "different perspectives" but the Amiga was one computer I never owned.
