Clue #2: Reading up on this game it seems that the thing people remember the most (besides the game's most famous feature) is the excerpt of the front cover depicted below.

Right, I'm going to post another incidental/mood-setting clue before switching over to more blatant ones, in the form of a music excerpt. Sorry about the RAR archives I'm putting these in but Poly doesn't like MP3s.

Barbarian?
I believe that's the name... the one where you play 1 or 2 players (What a supprise ). Player one walks around without shirt, player two has some colored shirt... Each player has a sword, and can cut of the other players head. After each round a small green guy comes in, taking out the body and head of the player who lost!
Is that it?
There also was a Barbarian II, and I believe the health bar and music is the same in those two games... but I might be mistaking. Barbarian II wasn't just a one on one fighter, but like a walking around some "maze" to find the enemies... didn't play that one much...Last edited by Adagio; November 19, 2003, 09:00.This space is empty... or is it?

Nice... I saw the picture, and guessed it... I wasn't sure though, so I also downloaded the MP3, and after hearing the first second I was completely sure about this one (I guess this tells how much I've played this game)
Another game coming right up...This space is empty... or is it?

This game was created in 1987. and the players played a couple girls. 4 years later a game with apparently the same graphics (Only seen the screenshots) appeired. This times the players where guys instead. The guys became famous, while the girls are only known by those who played the true classic...
I'm searching for the title of the '87 game, which appeired on both C64 and Amiga (as far as I know)This space is empty... or is it?

I'd say Great Giana Sisters but that's not compatible with the story you just told. So I'm not sure why I'm even guessing.Världsstad - Dom lokala genrenas vän

I'm not sure if Super Mario bros came as late as 1991 or so. Maybe that's what Buck is talking about.
Anyhow, I answered correctly, even if Birdseed tried to ignore that. Four minutes ahead of you, loser! I'll come up with a new game in a while.

I wasn't sure about the release date of the first Mario game either, but I just saw the game (by accident) on some site I'm not allowed to mention here, where it says the first Mario game was released in 1991. And by looking at the screenshots it had the same graphics (Except for the player graphics of course)
Of course, if someone can post a link to which proves me wrong, feel free to post itThis space is empty... or is it?
